Bought this to use as a prop on my desk. Bought the original led light so I got the RBG version also.

A great little light that just brightens a face or other subject. Mounts easily and securely on a camera hot shoe. Can be adjusted up or down to point the light to exactly the right spot. Small enough to hold at arms length to easily point it to the side, top, or from below your subject. Can be useful in macro or close-up situations. It doesn't produce an enormous amount of light, but it DOES produce enough to change the character of the existing light if you want to just brighten up a face or add sparkle in a subject's eyes. These are super cute and also actually useful for shooting close-ups on a wide angle lens

This is a small and creative light if you can find the right use case for it. The light it about the size of an old 35mm film reel and is a throwback to that era. It's an interesting design where you either use it as a standalone light, or you can put in the hot shoe adapter and then magnetically attach it. When it's magnetically attached, you can rotate it to any angle which is neat. Some of the immediate drawbacks that I found: 1. This is an RGB light only -- there is no white light. The closest you can come to 'white' is a warm yellow/orange. I would hope that for a RGB light, that it could also cycle to close to white 2. You can't adjust the brightness -- it's on or off 3. Adjusting the color involves holding down the button until you get close to the color you want. If you change the setting and want to return back to the exact same color, you can't. You can only approximate it. 4. The light, when attached to the shoe adapter, is very low so if you point it directly at the subject, you will likely cast a shadow unless you have a pancake or super short lens. You can get around this by using a bounce effect 5. The light is not especially bright so you have to be fairly close to the subject. On the flip side, the light is tiny so it's super easy to pocket and place anywhere you have a flat surface. You can place it vertically, or horizontally on the hot shoe and then position the angle. If it were a bit brighter, that would definitely help, but it's so small that you can use it creatively to do backlights or other things

Completely useless. White is not an option. Low CRI LED light, color quality is poor. Sure it's cute but sure it's also completely useless. I'd rather spend 3x and get some that offers CRI >95+ and in a larger form factor.

Absolutely amazing little light for my film cameras

This lil guy took a while to get to me but I finally have it. It is really tiny, its roughly the size of a 35MM roll of film and that really opens up some cool possibilities. You can put it in the scene and hide it behind other items or even in plain sight since it doesn't look like a light. The hot shoe mount is clever and gives you options as well; however, I feel the magnet is kind of weak for this. I'll play with it some and see if it's worth the effort. There is only one button and it's under the cap. short press turns it on and off, long press cycles through the different colors in a gradient fade. While this makes the operation of the light very simple, it is also frustrating because it can be hard to hit the exact color you want, and you have to cycle the colors again to get back to what color you want. Overall still a cool product and at a really great price point!

Pros: Quick to adjust, very tiny, workable battery life. Perfect for a macro shoot, too. Smart little magnetic cold shoe mount. Absolutely adorable 35mm film canister form factor. Cons: Very tiny. I used it on a shoot and then I, um, mislaid it. Very sad. Don't be like me, use the lanyard.

なかなかかわいらしい銀塩フィルム型のライトです。 明るさはそんなに遠くまで届きそうなくらいではないですが、 近い被写体であれば常時明るく照らせそうな感じでは有ります。 カメラのフラッシュは一瞬しかつかなかったりするので、 カメラで動画を撮ったりする場合には有効かなと思ったりします。

Fun gimmick but should not be use as a replacement for any other light source.

静物撮影の際に印象を変える光源として好きな色で照射できるライトです。 銀塩フィルムと大体同じ大きさのクロージャに入っており、ボタンを押すと点灯・消灯、長押しで色を変えるとてもシンプルなライトです。明るさの変更はできません。 ちょっと色味を加えたいという時に役に立ちますが、奇をてらうつもりのない時は使えないというのが残念です。白色も出せたらよかったのにと思います。

色を変えられますが、純粋な白色光にはならないようです。 疑似白色光よりも演色性が良いのでそれなりに光源としても使えます。 ホットシューアダプターに磁石でパトローネ部分がくっつく形です。 できれば、白色光にするモードがあればしてほしかったですね。補助光源として使えますし。
