I only started drinking green teas recently so I'm by no means an expert. This is whole leaf tea and on the more mild side imo. I do prefer the Japanese versions because they seem to have more of that effect on my tongue (I don't know how to describe it, sorry, but it's a particular taste I get only from green teas). I would buy this again though.
