My mechanic and his partner along with my friend worked together to install my cat clamp. All 3 of them made sure that the cables and clamps that goes around the cat are secured and does not move.My mechanic even test drove it after installation and made sure it was very quiet.Wow it was amazing - ran smoothly and no noise as if nothing happened.The product is great but it took 1 hour 30 mins and 3 people to instal. It is really advisable to bring it to a mechanic so they can lift your vehicle up to do it correctly and comfortably. Follow the instructions and BE CREATIVE with it so it does not make noise.Thanks cat clamp. πŸ‘ ### ⭐⭐⭐ Be ready to spend more money *by D***S on Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2020* Bought because my rvs catalytic converter was cut off while in storage .. a bit tricky to put on as there seems to be several different ways to do so and instructions were quite vague.. even watched several videos .. says to pull tight as possible while installing wires.. which I did.. but close to impossible given what is inclosed in the box to do... so I do rattle going down the road a bit.. will need to put even more money into it to make it work with my situation.. yes it does work and feel like it is a definite deterrent.. but a bit difficult to install with the lack luster instructions and will have to invest more money to keep it from vibrating... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Peace of mind. But only a matter of time when a lowlife dirtbag thief would attempt to steal it again. I heard some ones car had their cc stolen. I hoped it wasnt mine. I go to my car and start it up and it sounds like a dune buggy. This mutha @&$!s Got it again. So i thought. They cut my CC but did not leave with it. It was still secured by the clamp. The cc was damaged and many if the cables were cut. But it was still there. Thank God! So i dune buggied to my local muffler shop who was able to re-weld the damaged cc back to my car. They had to seal the cut marks and stated it should pass smog. We will see. So i slept in my car for the next few nights since i thought the thief would return to complete the theft. The cat clamp was unavailable so i purchased the Miller cat deterrent. Its basically a steal box that wraps around the cc. Thieves are creative and with enough time can get any cc. The shop that installed it said it looks pretty good and in order to get this cc they may damage it try to steal it. Needless to say i will be sleeping in my bed tonight. If you get you cc stolen. Know the thieves do not care. People are desperate so dont go beating yourself up why they did it. They dont care that have one car to take your kids to school. They dont care if you cant make it to your job. They dont care how many people are affected by their action. I just give it all to God and know He will handle them. Theres a circle in dantes inferno for these people.7year update. Cat still there.Please dont ask me if it will fit your car. Unless its a honda element then it will fit.4 year updateSo far so good. I still have the same cat since the first review. Looks close to as the same day it was installed. No major movement. No rust. That rattle i spoke of is non existent or i just got use to it. I have ran over debris which sometimes bangs the bottom really hard and it keeps on rollin. 4 to 5 stars cuz it does what it says and i haven’t had any situations on my element sc thanks you.This thing wasnt easy to put on. It also makes my car sound different. There is a light rattle when starting the vehicle. Its been on a month and at least i have a little piece of mind.
