Nice and firm but moldable. I find it too firm for an overnight sleep but it's great when I just want to stretch out for a bit and help with getting the normal backward arch into my neck. But I already knew this type of pillow is firm and I expected that so it still gets full marks. The outer covers are beautiful too - I got the short black version and the embroidery is lovely. It smells nice too with the buckwheat and wood pellet things. I totally get why folks love this. It's also great if you're a side sleeper and need a little bit of lift to elevate the arm you're not laying on so that your shoulder doesn't shift too far forward and overextend itself so nice dual purpose there. It seems to be well made

This little roll cushion is a perfect size for my bed’s pillow. I use it with a MyPillow pillow and it supports my neck well all through the night. I had to scoop out (and save) a lot of the filling—maybe 3 cups worth—because it was way too firm. It also took some time to “break in” myself as I wasn’t used to a firm neck roll pillow. I have issues with TMD and Cervical Instability and this with the MyPillow is great! the company was a pleasure to work with also and answered questions and helped before order. It has reduced headaches some and I recommend it. It’s is also well-made with beautiful stitching and I like it so much I find myself bringing it to my recliner too, perfect size to support the neck. Watching for a sale to get a second one! Yes, I recommend it! It came with some cute freebies from some star in the country it is made in; I’ve never heard of him but I thought it was sweet for those who may enjoy that too. I like that the cover can be removed to wash and it still has one additional full cover; one does not have to wash the main full cover to keep it cleaner. The smell is pleasant though I’m sensitive so it took me a little time to get used to. We were wondering, what’s that smell? It doesn’t smell bad, just different. the scent is supposed to help one sleep better. I think the pillow itself supporting the neck helps sleep better though.

I have "phone/computer neck" like so many of the rest of you. I've tried so many ways to help correct it (and it's a multi-pronged effort). This is just one of them. First, it's a BEAUTIFUL pillow. Very elegant, well made and well thought out. The cover has a solid Velcro enclosure on it and the inner covering has a strong zipper. It will arrive solidly filled with the "stuffing." So it will feel very firm. I unzipped it and let out maybe 20% of it and found it much better in tune with my anatomy of the neck. Everyone will have a different size and feel that feels optimal to them, so it will require a little experimenting. You can sleep on your back with it for the best effect (nap or overnight) but you can also sleep on your side, comfortably. I think this, in conjunction with neck exercises and proper chair posture on a consistent basis, is what it will take to get my neck back to where it should be. But it's definitely a major piece to the puzzle for me!

It’s a bit stiff and I know I can take some of the inside out but I’ve let it be because it’s good support. I also love the hinoki scent. I’m not usually a back sleeper, yet I am able to more often with this. It’s helping my neck pain from poor sleeping habits/bad pillows/computer work. And, again, the smell is pleasant and not overwhelming. It seems to be made well, looks and feels good, and I thank JK for introducing us to his nap pillow! And thanks to the company for the nice printed note in the package.

Absolutely love this pillow, it’s nice and firm, and it has a woodsy scent. We all know where this pillow came from🤭 The JK photo card was a cute addition. Borahae💜💜💜

A little smaller than expected, and harder, but I am not displeased. Probably just take a while to get used to it and break it in. Lovely quality. Would buy again. I'm having shoulder replacement and this will be very helpful while sleeping if odd positions during recovery.

Been using this for the last week or so and I'm sleeping so much better now! The JK photocards are lovely as well and such a nice added touch since I only wanted to try out this pillow because of JK. :) Will be ordering a second one soon!
