It's not the sturdiest thing in the whole world, but I live in Dodge City, KS (aka the windiest city in North America) and I never see it sway or anything. It has holes in the feet for stakes and it holds in down fine since we also have it wired to some t-posts connecting it to our chicken wire fencing that goes around the perimeter of our garden. It was a little difficult putting it together, but not so difficult that I couldn't do it by myself. My biggest complaint is that there's only one little on one side of the gate that holds the latch in place, so if it's really windy (like 50mph+) I worry it might blow open. It wouldn't budge if there were two little pegs. But for the most part it's been absolutely perfect for what we're using it for. Review: Pretty garden arch - Pretty and easy to put together with two people but in the end a bit wobbly, had to reinforce with rebar. ## Features - Panacea Arched Top Garden Arbor With Gate Brushed Bronze 90inx50in Bring a dramatic and decorative look to your garden - Can withstand the elements for years - Powder-coated for added durability - Brushed Bronze - Steel - Powder Coated Finish ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001CARPAU | | Best Sellers Rank | #232,360 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #247 in Garden Arbors | | Brand | Panacea | | Brand Name | Panacea | | Color | Brushed Bronze | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 out of 5 stars 230 Reviews | | Finish Type | Powder Coated | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00093432890967 | | Included Components | Panacea - 89096 | | Item Dimensions W x H | 50"W x 90"H | | Item Highlight | Tubular steel arbor frames an entryway or garden path; swinging gate adds function; ideal trellis for vines. | | Item Type Name | Panacea - 89096 | | Item Weight | 16 ounces | | Manufacturer | Panacea Products | | Manufacturer Part Number | Panacea - 89096 | | Material | Steel | | Material Type | Steel | | Metal Finish | Brushed | | Model Number | Panacea - 89096 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 50"W x 90"H | | Product Style | Garden | | Shape | Square | | Size | 90inx50in | | Style | Garden | | UPC | 093432890967 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Panacea - **Color:** Brushed Bronze - **Item Weight:** 16 ounces - **Material:** Steel - **Product Dimensions:** 50"W x 90"H ## Images ![Panacea Products Arched Top Garden Arbor with Gate, Brushed Bronze - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/514KV7bdHOL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What are the dimensions?** A: 47.5"x91.5"x18" **Q: What assembly is required?** A: It definitely requires two people to assemble. It also requires a ladder, but it is easily assembled by two people. Also we found out that the arching top should be put together on the ground first. You will also need a rubber or wood mallet to pound the pieces all the way in. **Q: what is the spacing measure in between the vertical rods of the gate? I'm wondering if it'll be enough to keep our little dog confined.** A: It's 4 1/2 inches wide and yes, our Bichon Frise is able to get through the gate and learned how to bounce against the gate until latch was undone. My husband built a cedar decorative box with a latch and metal handle for top and painted it black. Genius....but then we bought two "black metal puppy guard" at Home Depot that matched our black metal fence and attached to bottom of gate doors with screws and black zip ties, but dog jumped over & through. Amazon also sells a "puppy bumper" in pet supplies so small dogs can't get through small spaces. The bumper @ $19.95 requires additional dog collar threaded through loops then soft padded bumper snaps and works really well for prevention of escaping through small places. GOOD Luck! I would post a photo here but don't see a way. The Gate is nice and worth the trouble. **Q: The gate's latch does securely close the gate. It easily swings open. Any easy ideas to make sure my dog doesn't push it open?** A: The first thing I did was to drive a one foot piece of rebar against one side of the gate, just below the latch. Not allowing the gate to swing "out" so my dog couldn't push it open. This still allowed the gate to open in, providing a full width opening. Then I installed a stone path and placed a large stone at the opening, one side of the stone just slightly higher so that the gate sits on the stone, still allowing it to swing in, but not out. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really great archway for the price. *by T***E on June 8, 2023* This archway is beautiful.
