It is very soft and cuddly and looks exactly as pictured. It is just about 8”. But it is not the same breed of dog. If the child is very young it won’t make a difference. If the child is old enough to recognize one breed of dog from another, this toy won’t fool them. It’s tan and white, not brown. It does not look much like a Shih Tzu. It looks exactly like a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. **Q: How wide is this puppy at the shoulders? I want to put him in a small 10" feau fur stocking Thank you** A: This is a very cute, soft, squishy puppy. It will fit great in the stocking!
