Review: Sturdy and clunky - This inexpensive coat rack definitely does it's job and holds a lot of stuff without tipping over. The coat rack comes disassembled in a surprisingly small box, and the instructions are minimal and pretty bad. But it's a coat rack so it's not too hard to figure out if you have even a small amount of experience assembling furniture. As others have noted, not all the screws fit really well. I had 2 that I struggled with and 1 of the legs does not fit in far enough for the holes to align. Luckily that isn't a major issue as it leads to a wider base that's a little more stable. The hooks work as intended and we've put a lot of heavy jackets and smaller items on it with no issues. Item was shipped and received quickly. Definitely recommend for a budget coatrack.

It’s been a year and it’s as good as new. Easy to assemble and holds lots of weight. It’s very sturdy and stable.

The base is poorly designed for heavy use. There is a single screw attaching the stem to the legs. With a month of getting the stand the connection gave out. We had a different stand that survived for years. If you are only going to lightly use the rack it would be fine, but it can't handle the load we put on it.
