Now I can start the process of getting rid of that Black Beard Algae and not worry about crashing my nitrogen cycle. 2 Thumbs Up to Seachem Laboratories! **Q: are they copper free?** A: No. They contain 0.001% copper. Though people have used them in shrimp tanks without a problem, others have had shrimp die, particularly if the tablet got stirred up from the substrate (rescaping, fish burrowing, etc). If there's a chance of your substrate being disturbed, I'd recommend going with API Root Tabs instead, as they do not contain copper. **Q: How I use this for my tank 20 gallons** A: Per the instructions: "On initial use or after a major (> 40%) water change, use 1 capful (5 mL) for every 40 L (10 US gallons).
