Incredible quality, make Apple keyboard look overpriced.
Wow! I really like this. Looks and feels incredible, is this the world's heaviest keyboard? The instructions could be a bit clearer. Initially there's a need to plug in via USB directly to the host computer, not via a hub, to get the online launcher app to recognise the device. You certainly need to go straight to firmware update. The firmware update is easy, automated, and needed. After configuration you can put the cables away. A USB-C to USB-A adapter is included for those needing it. I bought the banana switch version and it sounds and feels lovely in my opinion. The launcher web based app is good, but there is a delay when applying key mapping which makes it feel like you've not done it right until you get used to this. The default key mapping did not seem to work and I had remap the default special / function keys to what they were. supposed to be. Be warned that clicking reset in one section resets the entire thing! That caught me out. I recommend you export the changes regularly, so you can go back if you mess it up. The colour options are fun, but manual setting is awkward and needs work.

A Superb Keyboard
How much thought does anyone give to their keyboard? Very little, I venture. We're usually happy to accept what comes with our PC. This is a mistake. I've tried many a keyboard over the years, never really being happy with any of them, though some were better than others. Only recently did I do any research into what is the fundamental component of our input into our computers. Don't get me wrong, this keyboard is seriously expensive, enough to put most off without another thought. But that would be a mistake. This keyboard is so much better than any other I have used previously. The first feature is the weight of it. This gives it a feeling of quality and solidity, implacability, even. It sits on your desk and feels hewn out of granite. It doesn't shift when in use at all. The second feature is the key feel. Granted, you can choose a key switch which suits, and because they're hot-swappable you can replace them if for some reason you don't quite like them. The keycap shape is also well-considered, and really helps touch typing, but again, you can replace these if you fancy a different feel. I have't tried the wireless connection options as USB is fine for my application. I also like the option to program the keyboard using VIA/QMK. Using this keyboard is like driving a Bentley. Yes, it's hugely expensive, but it's more than justified. It'll be the last keyboard I ever own.

Good, but unreliable, and have manufacturing issues.
Update: I'm fed up with this keyboard now. Battery randomly drains fast. And now more key caps have stopped working. Keychron have stopped responding to my email. It's both a great keyboard but also unreliable. It's a bit expensive for what it is, I would have preferred to pay less for wired. It's a heavy keyboard, by far the heaviest keyboard I've ever had. The keys are very nice, and it's very enjoyable to type on. All that said, it was VERY frustrating to type the above as my U, J, H and Y keys need multiple jabs in order to register. Upon contacting KeyChron, they admitted there's manufacturing issues with their keyboards and the pins on the switches aren't long enough. They are sending me a replacement set from China. You may read other reviews and think it's an issue only affecting some units, but it's a problem they all get eventually after enough use. The PCB is very spongy under the chassis.

Creamy smooth and amazing
This keyboard is Creamy smooth and amazing. The sound, feel and functionality is second to none. It is the most expensive and also the best keyboard I have ever owned. It was a guilty purchase but glad I did. There are a couple of bits to get use to but once you have the keyboard to your liking they are not a big deal (n.b There are no separate caps, num loc lights <- the key leds go white, have to change key caps out of the box <- very easy to do, num pad doesn't have the alternative key fucntions on them <-I just keep it as keypad, if recording macros dont forget to include the key release steps) Again this is a fantastic keyboard, which feels solid, well made and robust.

Reliability and customer support not good.
Great keyboard however build quality is not good. From day one, 2 key switch keep coming out of place and 3 other keys have suddenly stopped working consistently unless I press hard. Keychron customer support are not replying to my emails

Beautiful to type on!
This is a very heavy and well built keyboard that makes typing a real pleasure. The keys have a wonderful tactile feel to them and is substantially better than any keyboard I've ever used. It's expensive but worth it in my opinion. Great that keys are provided for both pc and mac use and it can be used wired or wireless, providing both usbc and standard usb connections. I've been using the keyboard for months now and I've knocked a star off my original review as annoyingly 3 or 4 keys tend to select double characters or sometimes none at all. This spoils the experience somewhat and is unfortunate as it is otherwise an excellent keyboard.

It thocks
This is an amazing keyboard. The sound of the keys is lovely, though that sound might take a bit of getting used to. The keyboard does not ping at all. Or rather, it does, just a little, but I think that that is due to my desk (even though the desk is sturdy); a bit of neoprene attached to the underside of the desk should fix that. The keys feel good to type upon. The whole keyboard is good quality and the keyboard is heavy - really heavy, and thus it is just a little inconvenient to shift the board to a new position. There are no LEDs for caps lock and num lock (and for some reason num lock is labelled 'num clear'); instead backlighting is used and that backlighting is not especially visible. But this is a minor gripe, at least given that on some operating systems one can enable an indicator for when those keys go on or off. (Still: in Windows 10 - and Windows 11? - the only option here - without third-party software - seems to be to have a _sound_ play.) My instance of the keyboard came setup for a mac, but it was easy enough to fit the replacement keys provided.

Love it!
Love it so much! It's a great keyboard. Weight just over 2kg, but that's not a bad thing! I love the Banana switches, they are very satisfying to type on, and they are pretty quiet. I did replace the keycaps for some other ones, but the keycaps it comes with are also very nice and feel good. Highly recommend it!
