"SINGOFIRE" New Upgrade Advanced Handpan Drum, Ember Steel Handpan, 10-Notes with Bag, 22-Inch 440Hz D Minor Kurd, Telescopic Drum Stand, Copper Glow Pupil

I decided to go with this new upgrade advanced handpan by Singofire...so happy I did! Priced well, fast delivery, packed perfectly with all the accessories, in tune with great resonant sound. Company was very responsive & helpful right away, too..which confirmed I made the right choice. Altogether beautiful!

Passed my expectations, has that long resonance that 2 previous returns didn't have it has the long ring tone that I hear of much more expensive pans you see master players on YouTube play. For the money it's well worth the price, it has that light glowing sound you would want, it's hard to imagine it comes much better than this, as a percussion player it doesn't take long to figure out some inner joy & contentment in playing this instrument it works well for me. The one negative is the largest ring on the outer part of the pan was a little flat which I hear on many 22" pans have just used a little ball pin hammer lightly tapped under around the ring recommend to watching videos knowing I was going to keep it, now has a true ring all around, even so it's a 5 star pan to me.

Of course I just received this upgraded hand pan today, but I must tell you I absolutely love it. Well worth the money spent. I have friends with hand pans that cost a couple to a few thousand dollars, and I must say this hand pan is going to be able to hold its own! Not to mention the beauty of it. I was lucky to have chosen this one. Do not hesitate to give this a try!!

My wife says: This 6-inch steel tongue drum is a delightfully fun instrument. It produces clear and loud tones with a pleasing timbre. It would also make an excellent gift for kids or adults interested in musical education. However, some notes were slightly flat when it arrived, likely because the box was squished in transit. Luckily, tuning it was straightforward, using the instructions and my guitar tuner. Now, it plays beautifully. The drum is tuned to C, making it easy to play. But since there are no sharps or flats, I had to get creative with some songs. I had a lot of fun following the songs in the instruction book, even though some familiar tunes had different names. Playing with the mallets provided a clearer sound than the finger picks, but both methods were enjoyable. It's great that the set includes replacement stickers for the note numbers in case they wear off. One suggestion for improvement would be to include an option for letter stickers corresponding to the notes instead of numbers. Lastly, the silicone plug in the bottom hole actually enhances the sound when left in, which was a pleasant surprise.

Great sound and my grandson really enjoyed playing it.

Terrible build quality! It shows signs of rust which is odd for stainless steel! I tried to play it by hand and couldn't get it to play any notes without hitting it hard or using a mallet. It is so out of tune, I wouldn't classify this as an instrument.

I have been collecting small steel tongue drums for use with my elementary music classes. This one is a nice size, and I love that the pitch stickers were already attached, saving me a step! It came with a protective fabric drawstring bag, two small dowel rods, 2 mallet heads for the dowels, and a couple of other accessories I assume are a stand for the drum and a set of little mallet heads on bands that I think must be meant for placing on your fingertips, but I'm not sure. There is also a songbook with some tuning and troubleshooting tips if your drum arrives misshapen or dented. Mine arrived with no dents. The lower pitches sound pretty good, but Ti and high Do (pitches 7 & 1¹) are very murky. The correct pitches are in there, but there are lower non-harmonious pitches sounding alongside the correct notes on each. It's almost like overtones, but lower. Undertones?? I'm not sure. I am going to play around some more with the tuning helps in the songbook to see if I can get those pitches cleaned up a bit.
