It's simple to use just as a night vision monocular but gets fiddly when using the camera functionality. It comes provided with a USB-C to USB cable. It wasn't recognised by the USB-C port of my Mac for downloading images using any of my standard USB-C to USB-C cables, although they would work for charging the battery. Eventually, it was recognised when I used a USB to USB-C adapter on the provided cable. The settings are done by 4 buttons at the top of the camera, which are tricky and not very intuitive. The instruction manual just gives a few hints to how they are used.

The G215 thermal monocular is a great budget friendly thermal spotter without compromising quality. It performs just as good as the more expensive 256 resolution thermal monoculars on the market without breaking the bank. I have opted to mount mine on a golight making it remote controlled from inside my vehicle by watching it live streaming on my tablet. This is great for those cold nights checking the fields for hogs. No more having to roll the window down and lean out the truck. I can now see 360 degrees around my vehicle. Identification range between deer or hog is about 250 yards. Detection range of a deer or hog is about 500-600 yards. The battery life is really good and will last all night of hunting without being turned off. I would highly recommend this optic to anybody new to thermals or that doesn’t want to break the bank but wants a quality monocular.

Très bon produit ! Pour le reconnaissance et l’observation des animaux en milieu naturel. Mériterait un meilleur zoom numérique et il faut faire très attention aux accus car ce n’est pas des accus 18650 classiques, elles sont plus longues que les 18650 des cigarettes électroniques. C’est du +ZLY 18650.

Este monocular está pensado para la observación general, no para ser utilizado como un visor térmico acoplable a otros dispositivos. El monocular llega con una funda de transporte con un cable USB a USBC para cargar y descargar videos. Dispone de un punto de enfoque, un botón de encendido, un botón de brillo y un botón de zoom de 4 aumentos digitales. Tiene 6 modos de imagen: blanco caliente, negro caliente, rojo caliente, arco iris, rojo hierro y brillo. Se puede cambiar entre los diferentes tipos de visualización pulsando el botón de modo, y cuando lo usas recuerda mucho a cierta película con un alienígena que venia de caza a la Tierra y que hacia lo mismo. La verdad es que es una experiencia bastante increíble sobre todo las primeras veces que lo haces. El dispositivo tiene dos opciones de lente: 10mm y 15mm. Además, tiene una clasificación de resistencia al agua IP65 y el único punto potencial de entrada para líquidos es el puerto USBC, que está bien protegido. El dispositivo podría ser útil para caza, la observación de la vida silvestre, las operaciones de búsqueda y rescate de personas y vigilancia nocturna, aunque para este fin es mejor disponer de visores nocturnos de infrarrojos. Es muy cómodo a la hora de usarlo ya que la pieza ocular tiene un protector de silicona muy agradable y que no permite que pase nada de luz. Dispone conectividad Wi-Fi, lo que permite a los usuarios grabar directamente en su dispositivo. Sin embargo, solo he podido verificar la app para Android y funciona realmente bien. Internamente tenemos 16GB de almacenamiento.
