16 channel servo driver
I have an Arduino project that requires six servos. This 16 channle servo driver is amazing. It worked flawlessly out of the box. My difficulty was that the driver uses I2C communications and that made it difficult to use the Arduino as a master since my I2C network has the Arduino as a slave. And it then became a tradeoff of using six of the Arduino outputs to drive the servos direcly, or continue with a modified I2C network and have ten channels not used. It would be nice to have this product available in an eight channel version. But, as designed, this is an amazing product. Highly recommended.

Top Notch Costumer Service.
These are cool motor drivers; they're built with fairly decent quality. You can control anything with a PWM input too, like LEDs. You can also cascade these to control over 900 servos, lol! However, some of the pins came bent; probably got bent out of shape during shipping, although reshaping them isn't too tricky with needle nose pliers, and they function. I have 2 6v servos controlled through a PCA9685 using a Arduino Uno R3 as a platform for controlling the servos with 2 10k potentiometers. Pretty neat, although there is zero documentation that come with these, so unless you've already got some information about using these you might be in a situation where you'll need to do research to supplement the lack of documentation. Luckily the Arduino community provides essential hidden knowledge to the public regarding electronics, usually free of charge, and helps to demystify these useful electronic modules. I can't imagine why a manufacturer wouldn't want an informed public to know of the usefulness of the product they're producing, which is to be sold, but these aren't too hard to work with, and looking into how to do interesting things with these isn't too tough either with all the open source projects out there that call for using these.

Labeled and color coded nicely. A little more expensive but works as expected
I got these two HiLetgo PCA9685 for a project in my embedded system class and found them to perform as expected. Everything on the board is labeled and color-coded nicely. I used the I2C bus on this board to control a few servo motors using a beagle bone black as well as an Arduino in a different project. The only con is that their price is a little more expensive compared to a few other options here. Overall, well-made PCA9685 boards that work as expected.

2.5mm mounting holes
FYI, 3mm mounting screws will not work on these boards. Go buy some 2.5mm screws if you don't have any. The mounting holes have metal sleeves, so "drilling them out" might damage the board. Search for "Adafruit PCA9685 16-Channel Servo Driver" for some excellent hookup instructions.

crooked headers -- a trend
The AI summary says, "Customers report issues with crooked headers and pin alignment." Yep. That. 100%. A simple DuPont connector during soldering would fix their problems. I've managed to plug in my servos with some effort, but it has to be putting stress on the joint. Hopefully it holds up.
