Oxford Spiral Notebooks, 1 Subject, College Ruled Paper, Durable Plastic Cover, 100 Sheets, Durable Divider Pocket, 3-Hole Punch, 3 Pack, Red, Black and Blue (10390)

The paper in these notebooks doesn't have a premium feel like Rhodia, Mnemosyne or Leuchturm paper, but pages are of good quality. The front covers are plastic, and the back cover is heavy card stock which supports writing without a desk. There is a nice plastic sheet in the front with a pocket on either side. I write with the following pens: an Aurora Ipsilon (steel nib F); a Parker 51 (F) circa 1965; a Pelikan Souveran M400 (F) in order of preference. These are fairly dry pens and they write smoothly and without bleed in the lines or through the pages. I also use a Leonardo MomentoZero (F) which lays down a relatively wet line, and it also does not bleed through. The ink I use is Parker Quink in black. I like the feel of these pens on this paper, and writing in these books is a pleasant experience. I think these notebooks are a good value at $12 for three books of 100 sheets each. I will definitely buy these again, although I have a lot of writing to do before I need to reorder.

Great notebooks

I bought the Oxford Spiral Notebooks (1 subject, college ruled, 3-pack in red/black/blue) and they’re exactly what I wanted: reliable, durable, and easy to keep organized. The plastic covers are a big upgrade from standard paper covers—these hold up well in a backpack and don’t get bent or torn easily. The college-ruled paper is smooth and comfortable to write on, and the pages feel solid (minimal bleed-through with normal pens). Each notebook has 100 sheets, which is plenty for a class or a project, and the spiral binding feels sturdy. I also love the divider pocket—it’s perfect for holding loose handouts, worksheets, or notes you haven’t filed yet. The three colors make it easy to assign one per subject, which keeps everything simple. Overall, this pack is a great value and a dependable choice for students, teachers, or anyone who likes taking notes the old-school way.

The paper is good, thin, writes well, and it only seems to bleed if I scribble too much ink in one spot. Good amount of pages, not discolored. My only holdup is that the perforations seem quite poor, and it's a bit difficult to take a page out cleanly.

I like these books, as I have bought larger ones in the past, and I rough them up too quickly before i finish using the whole book. These are just right, as I finish the book per the amount of abuse I dish out to them.

It is great to have the right tools for the job, even if the job is only taking notes in a meeting. These notebooks have a sturdy wire binding, with the ends reliably looped in (not snagging on sweaters). The plastic covers hold up well. Pages are 3-hole punched, and they are perforated for clean removal when needed.

I got this for my child because he’s been looking for a book to write stories. Exactly as described. Affordable and sturdy.

Size of a book is great. The lines are well defined overall just a great book.
