I use the cover over the 1/2 inch ritr binder with 100 sheets of ritr paper, wouldnt go over 100 sheets, i use it as part of my land nav kit, works out perfectly and fits in my pants cargo pocket...

It's a good cover a little expensive though and you have to buy the binder to be useful as it doesn't have anything to hold it together withought it flopping around. I use it for college to hold my pencils and pens for note taking and drafting.

Works great for my needs. Replaced a 12 year old version. I replaced the zipper in the old one with a heavier zipper after 4 years to extend it's life. Would be 5 star if the zipper was more durable.

This is an outstanding small notebook that works anywhere except underwater. It is easy to refill pages, remove pages. The inside pockets are great for holding writing implements.

I am a notebook user and keeper with notebooks going back over 30 years. Over the years I have used, and worn out, untold numbers of notebook covers. The "Rite in the Rain" is the best cover I have ever found. I carry three notebooks in it: my primary notebook for recording phone calls, random ideas, names and numbers - any number of daily minutias. A second notebook is used for specific projects I am working on - video, photography, software, work - it puts them all in one place for easy reference and additions. Finally, I carry a personal journal. Added to that, I carry a number of different pens in different colors. It's quite a bit of stuff requiring a sturdy and spacious notebook cover to hold all of these items. "Rite in the Rain" is just that product. It is the perfect size - rather than a large and unwieldy cover holding 8 ½ x 11 spiral notebooks that take up half a table when you open them, the "Rite in the Rain" cover holds my preferred 5x7 notebooks. The notebooks are easily removed for writing as well making the cover very flexible. One large pocket on the left flap holds my project notebook and journal while the pocket on the right secures the rear cover of my daily notebook. There is also a pocket available for business cards and loose sheets of paper as well. The material is very tough, the zipper is extremely sturdy and the whole cover expands enough to easily hold my three notebooks and all the pens I could ever want. Truly, the Rite in the Rain cover is the best cover I have used in the past 30 years!

I bought the "Rite in the Rain" binder, cover and paper for my Boy Scout son to use with his Fisher space pen. I've been using Rite in the rain products for awhile at my job and thought it would be good for my son as well. Yes, it is "Rite in the Rain" , under water, milk, soda ,coffee, and anything else an 11 year old boy can spill on it which is one of the reasons I bought it. Another reason is that he is using this for scouting and I wanted it to be able to go anywhere and hold up to the wet and humid conditions here in Louisiana, and yes, even the swamp. But the original reason was because the 4 5/8" X 7" size I bought fits in his smaller Camelback and even in the same compartment as the bladder so I can utilize that compartment and not have to worry about condensation messing up his notebook. It's a great product, I definitely recommend it, and only wish his school text books where made with the same paper!
