Phenomenal
I have used the DC voltage with a barrel type connector instead of RCA for awhile and they are phenomenal. Anyone who is doing even the most minor install should have these in their toolbox. The ability to quickly test certain wires together and just as quickly undo whatever it was your testing is priceless. Instead of soldering the same couple wires over and over and over and over you could instead use these and make it that much easier. Not saying soldering is hard, I am a die hard believer in soldering over crimp, but to smooth your workflow this much you can't deny their value.I also quickly tested each positive and negative post through every one of them and every single one of them didn't add a single 0.1ohm at all. These things are amazing. They can also be used in hundreds of other applications outside of just stereo equipment. I have used the DC barrel type all over my 3d printer to be able to unplug certain things with ease and also plug them back in. You can get very creative with these,

Know how these work before buying
Many who use similar products to this are under the belief they're suppose to have the bare metal touching clamps. While this works, an approach that works better is to shove the insulation into the clamp, so it bites into the insulation. Less of the wire is stripped, and once installed like that the connection is rock-solid because it is the insulation being pinched which acts as a strain relief.Knowing this, any loudspeaker cable will allow for the creation of a functional connection. If pairing multiple connections together, it is better to combine them into a single cable which will accept the insulation into the clamp before fastening, If one has heatshrink and a lighter on-hand, simply twisting them together and using the heatshrink as cable insulation will work. Otherwise an acceptable splice is to fold and hook the wire for twisting together and using fabric tape to adhere the splice.Do note: Direct metal contact reduces likelihood for noise, so if clamped onto the wire itself it shouldn't be moved around too much to reduce the risk of metal fatigue and disintegration of the wire. Satellite speakers and hi-fi serves well to handle it like this, otherwise connection to / with headsets should follow the above advice of clamping the insulation.

Inconsistent quality
Overall, these are a good product. Connections are easily and securely made. However, there are quality issues. Several of these were rendered unusable when the terminal screws stripped making it impossible to secure the wires.

I used two pair and they worked great!
I bought a packaged of 5 pair of female plugs and 5 pair of male plugs. Price was excellent for 20 RCA plugs. I looked at the "spring" type but found these with a screw and clamp method and that was the perfect choice. I read some reviews where wires pulled out or a screw stripped out but I tend to think those results might be due to operator error. I used 16 gauge wire and tightened the screws very securely and then I gave each connection a decent tug and nothing pulled out nor did I strip a thread and I put good pressure tightening the screw. Maybe the others got a couple of bad connectors. Not my experience. These did the job very nicely and they are easy to use. Just be sure you get your positives and negatives matched up. Best part? No soldering. Easy peasy. I highly recommend this product.....and the seller, Exgoofit.
