I have very painful arthritis in my knees and have recently developed a long-term illness which affects me in several different ways, including exhaustion, dizziness and a painful leg ulcer. After a period of hospitalisation, I decided that I needed to bite the bullet and start using some aids, particularly with regard to bathing as I don't have a walk-in shower, just a shower head over the bath. The stool took me 5 minutes to put together and is clearly strong and stable. I only ever shower (as opposed to sitting in the bath), and I keep this stool in the bath so that I can sit whenever I feel I need to. Then, when I've finished my shower, I wipe off the excess water and put it on the tiled floor so I can sit while I dry myself off. I've lost a massive amount of weight due to my illness but am still about 90kg, but this little stool is very sturdy and I feel safe using it. It has about 5 notches (like on a walking stick) for adjusting the height, so you can have it as high or low as you need. It really was worth every penny (although it was very reasonably priced anyway), and I can't recommend it highly enough. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A very good purchase *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 April 2026* Very straight forward and easy to put together.
