This is new. Lady Clairol has changed the formula so that you have to wait the normal time, but it sticks to just the hairs and leaves only a small area that is excessive. The rule are change a bit. Pour slightly less into a black mixing cup available on Amazon. If correct it will begin to fizz. Too does not hurt, but it slows the process. The color should also be from lady Clairol. On the number 20 I use ultra cool black. My hair has always been some blonde. The dual applications hold. It works and if it gets onto the floor it can be wiped easier. I also use the 9N/89N very light blonde. Applied at the same time, I have had no problem. I use the thick brush in and rub with the hands.

I believe this developer is great unfortunately the hair color I paired it with was not. But I tried this developer in a better hair color and was able to achieve the desired look. I think it was a great developer for the price you can’t beat it!!

It does what it says. A good product and a good price.

This saved a set of bedding after a weird middle of the night bad bloody nose left a mess. Plain cold water didn't work. Spray remover didn't work. Tried this as it reacts with proteins (you need protein enzyme remover for this type of stain) and after leaving it on the stains a few hours and rising, it was lighter. I kept doing this every few hours for the day and the stains are all gone. On the pillow I applied and left in the sun and a few hours later the spot disappeared. Now this was an on white bedding. If you use this on colours, test the area first.
