Zingz & Thingz Galvanized Metal Collection Country Farmhouse Animal Garden Sculpture, 11.25x3.75x14.5, Hen with Chicks

These are very cute, and a great price.. I ordered mine from Amazon that came with a damaged box it said, but it also came in a Amazon box. Was delivered in 4 day in perfect condition. In the box the chickens where wrapped very good. I only had to put the tail feathers on. Just slid then in the slot. Went in like butter. Since I knew the box would be damaged, the price was only $19.51 plus tax.. There very sturdy, not bendable. I put them in green ground cover - flowers on the ground, and scraped the dirt level, there not falling over. There a black color with a bit of a brown speckles. I plan on spraying them with rust oleum, so they do not rust or there look like dirt at my home . (live on a few acres) I'm then going to paint the babies a deep Yellow color, black eyes..Leave the beak black. The mother hen I'm going to paint some red and Yellows colors etc..,.. Btw I did take a chance buying them from a damaged box from Amazon for $5.00 less, but it said the the chicken where not damaged, and they where not. If they where damaged, I could have send them back for free through Amazon. Would buy them again..

As a realistic Artist, not a sculptor, I still found these attractive and sturdy, although very abstract versions of real hens. I bought them as a gift for my quirky neighbors who have lots of things (objects de arte) in their backyard. There had been a beautiful yellow/gold buff hen hanging around their home almost like a pet. She just appeared and several months later disappeared. We don't know what happened but the neighborhood missed her. I bought these for my friends and they rigged them with wire on their wooden fence. The neighborhood feels a little more "normal" now!

I wish so much I could give these 5 stars because they're absolutely adorable. I am impressed at the quality of this set. I was prepared to receive a light, flimsy set but was pleasantly surprised to find that these are actually nice, strong and solid with a bit of weight to them. The only reason I had to take a star away was because the color does not match up at all with the product description photo. This set is lack in color, instead of the silver metal color, which was quite a bummer for me. This is a wonderful little set though, if you are prepared to receive a black color instead of the color shown in the picture. I will be keeping mine and am glad I purchased it.

Given as a gift and the recipient loved them! The only thing is that I noticed the chickens were a lot darker than shown in the original photo, which was okay (honestly I think the darker color is even nicer). There was also the packaging (which really isn’t too important) it came in a plain brown box within the amazon box. The chickens seemed like they were packaged and secured nicely inside but I wanted so badly to open the box to see what they looked like in person before I gave them to her. She sent me a picture of them opened and they are so cute!

This distributor really is fantastic! The way they care about their products, the way they send it to you is absolutely amazing. First of my package arrived sooner than expected. Second when I open the box they had package every single piece carefully and securely to where there was no way this product would get damaged. Thirdly the chickens are quite adorable. I was hoping this were just as pictured, with the silver metal. They came as a soft black. Still very cute and well made.

I already had a metal rooster sculpture in my garden and I wanted to add a metal hen and chicks. I had difficulty finding some online but found these. I love that the chicks are different from each other and they all stand up quite well. Unfortunately, these black sculptures disappeared into my black mulch in the garden and were hard to see. I wasn’t sure what to do to make them more visible, and the got the idea to paint them. That worked out great.

Excellent addition to our flower garden !
