Womens Pumps

OK, so I'm almost seventy, but still like a NICE looking heel for certain dressy occasions. BUT they have to be WEARABLE. As in I want to be able to wear them at least four or five hours and to be able to stand in them! HERE ARE MY PROS AND A COUPLE CAVEATS for the 8.5 BLACK PATENT AND THE REGULAR BLACK LEATHER (GOT BOTH :-)) PROS: QUALITY - REALLY like the quality of these. They came from ZAPPO'S, so can't speak to what you may get from a different vendor. INSIDE is great, just enough cushion and support. PRICE - I got these when they were about forty bucks, GREAT DEAL for CLARK'S and for my one DRESSY pair of heels. QUALITY, LOOKS AND GREAT PRICE. LOOKS - OK I didn't think THIS was possible. Because of the small platform at the front, for a heel that is this high, these are COMFY and easy to wear. I don't feel I am TOTTERING on them. I LOVE they don't look like old lady heels! THESE would be great for any special occasion you needed something a bit dressy. FIT - I found these true to size, I wear an 8.5 in just about anything but flip flops, but GET READY FOR A COUPLE CAVEATS AND SOME ADVICE BELOW! CAVEATS AND ADVICE for those of you who may have ANY foot issues: I have bunions. MODERATE, but DEFINITELY THERE. AND I broke my toe next to my big toe, so it sticks UP a bit and can rub on just about any pair of shoes or boots so I put a SILICONE TOE SLEEVE ON IT (otherwise it will rub and bleed). Those silicone toe sleeves are GREAT if you have a toe or toes that stick up from being broken, corns and VARIOUS VENDORS sell on AMAZON. IN SPITE of the bunions, THIS SHOE FITS (and I didn't get a WIDE, just a regular 8.5). NOW, the toe that sticks UP, NO SHOE can really accommodate that, that's where the silicone toe sleeve comes in to keep it from rubbing. BLACK PATENT isn't QUITE as comfy as the regular leather and won't stretch like regular leather, but do a wee bit (FYI, for the PATENTS, if you put them on and put your hair dryer on LOWEST WARM setting and run back and forth, again on lowest WARM setting, it softens them up and helps stretch a bit). I THOUGHT of trying these in a wide, but that wouldn't really help the toe that sticks up, so staying with the regular 8.5. IN SPITE of some toe issues, I have a fairly narrow foot. YOU MAY WISH to try a wide and the regular and send back whichever one doesn't work. OVERALL, I GIVE THIS A RESOUNDING FIVE! At my age, with my foot issues, to be able to WEAR this shoe (not sure I would want to WALK IN IT FOR HOURS, but that goes for MOST FLATS AND HEELS) and not be in pain? To get this quality at this price? IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A NICE, YET COMFY, DRESS SHOE, TRY IT. You can also return them and I can't imagine any heel this high being as comfortable as these are!

I bought 8.5, used. It was only about three dollars less than new. They were "like new", and had been sitting in someone's closet collecting dust. VERY dusty, I had to clean them. Clean your shoes before you sell them!! I will not attempt used again. The quality is outstanding but they are about a half size too small. I don't usually have a problem fitting into shoes and I have a narrow foot. These are beautiful and have nice padding and nice grip on the bottom. They are fine to walk in as far as height and seem like they wouldn't cause blisters, the back of the heel even has a little pad. Really comfortable even for too small shoes, amazing

I need an extra wide shoe and have “hit or miss” experiences with Clark’s. I love the brand as when I find a shoe of theirs that fits, I find them comfortable, stylish and long lasting. But they don’t have a large variety in extra-wide. I really needed a dress pump and took my chances ordering this one in a 7 wide. It was available in wide but not extra wide. The shoe itself was attractive but was too narrow and tight fitting. The length, too, seemed short for a 7. I ended up returning the shoes because they would not fit my extra-wide feet. I really hope Clark’s will start offering a “wider” variety of extra-wide shoes. I gave the shoes a four star rating because the shoe itself is attractive and well made but it is not wide enough if you have extra-wide feet.

5 years later and they still look and feel great! That's what quality is!

I cannot believe how comfortable these heels are! I wore them for 10 hours straight & had absolutely no foot pain, no rubbing, no blisters. I even walked around the grocery store in them after work. I've stuck with ballet flats for the last several years because I could never find heels that weren't a torture device. I saw that these are often recommended for flight attendants. That has to be the highest recommendation! They're on their feet all day long & walk long distances through airports. I usually wear an 8 & in some shoes I'm more comfortable in wide width. I got an 8W & they fit perfectly. They may not be the most stylish or fancy heels, but they're a classic & perfect for work. I only wish they were available in more colors.

True to size. Cute black pump. They are comfortable at the bottom, my feet/heels didn't hurt, however, the top edge of the shoe rubbed the top of my foot above my big toe while I walked so my skin is a little raw. I had to change out of them the last half of my work day. They're synthetic, so they probably won't stretch, so I wouldn't wear these all day/at work, walking around a lot, etc because of the top.

Very comfortable! The toe box does not squeeze and allows me to wear them for long periods. The heel is the perfect height for making me feel sexy in them!

I recently purchased a pair of pumps from Clark's, drawn to the brand's reputation for comfort. Unfortunately, my experience with these shoes was far from satisfactory. I wore them to a graduation rehearsal and graduation ceremony, and even with three days of wearing them around the house for an hour each day beforehand, they proved to be a disappointment. From the moment I put them on, I could tell these pumps were not living up to the Clark's comfort standards I had heard so much about. The fit was off, even though I had sized up half a size based on other reviews. The shoes were still painful to wear, causing discomfort and soreness throughout the event. Had I known how uncomfortable they would be, I would have returned them without hesitation. However, since I had already worn them to the graduation, returning them was no longer an option. I had to endure the discomfort for the entire night, making it feel like a wasted investment. In terms of style, the pumps were decent, but their lack of comfort overshadowed any positive aesthetic aspects. It's disappointing when a brand known for its comfort fails to deliver, especially when the shoes come at a higher price point. In conclusion, I regret purchasing these pumps from Clark's. Despite the brand's reputation for comfort, these shoes fell short of expectations. The fit was off, even after sizing up, and the overall experience was painful and uncomfortable. I do not plan on wearing them again and feel that they were a waste of money. If you prioritize comfort, I would advise looking elsewhere for a more reliable and comfortable pair of pumps.
