The wires didn't really glow red when charging more of a flickering purple, however it's normal. The company sent a second full set (we only asked for replacement wires) and the LED glows like that. Works great, battery last quite a long time, customer service is great, works well with windows and connect instantly. The purple looks cooler than the red anyways. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Goodbye batteries! *by T***6 on Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2019* I was getting so darn sick of getting AA batteries for my kids' x-box one! The silliest thing ive noticed about the xbox one is that they do not have built in rechargeable controllers like the PS4 does. Which causes lots of battery usage and batteries are expensive! These were really easy to install just like normal batteries. It comes with 2 extra black backs but i dont know why you would need a new back when the controllers already have their own so i just used our original backs (which are white) so they would match and it worked fine. I like that it comes with charging USB cables for each controller and you can even use them to play while they are charging! I think I may need to get some longer cables though as I dont like the kids sitting too close to the tv. Definitely worth the money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Nice Battery, but hard to look at appearance. *by B***Z on Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2021* They charge nicely, best way to have one battery charged by the time you waste the other is by having one be charged at a time by another controller (unused one is best), and so you switch between them so when run out of battery.Also I reccomend that you don't use the covering behind the controller for the battery, including the one that arrives with it. It's too tight and alot of times very much a nuisances to put on and out. Especially on the Series X controller, it took me a knife to take the thing out (the original back piece), and the battery piece that comes with it is too small for the newer controllers.Nonetheless a decently good battery.
