I have bought and installed 3 of these over the last 6 years, and the oldest one still works as nicely as the newest. I love the 1/4 turn functionality and the smooth feel of operation. I have very corrosive quality to my well water, and this causes low quality silcocks to fail within a few years but, I'm happy to say that does not happen with this product!However, there were two problems: First this product seems to be hard to find when entering simple search terms on Google or Amazon. Don't ask me why. Second, the length of the Mueller product was about 7/8 inch longer than thefailed product I removed, so, I did have to make some plumbing changes to accomodate this; pretty simple really, as I just pre-soldered in a 2 and 1/8 inch pipe onto the product and removed the old elbow on the house-side supply line, and quickly slipped on a Sharkbite elbow. The new silcock assembly can then be very easily inserted and adjusted for proper rotation and .....done! couldn't be more HAPPY!

I was unable to find a 1/4 turn locally. This is well made and fit perfectly. I used a screw on shark bite to connect to copper supply line. Easy peasy

Works fine, reasonably well constructed. Should last a decent number of years, just not an "old school" overbuilt heavy brass piece

This is an excellent frost free hose bib and should provide many years of service because of the improvements in design 👏 😀

This is the 2nd unit I installed. The first was a few years ago in the back of the house. It still works fine and I love, love the quarter turn shutoff. So much better than the old multi turn valves.For this unit, I also purchased a FIP 1/2 inch sharkbite adapter. I screwed this on the end to make installation a breeze. I also purchased a 10 foot piece of pex pipe to replace the copper pipe run to this spigot.The existing hole in my house was about 1 inch, and I had to enlarge it. I used a 1 and 1/8 inch spade bit and that worked fine.All done and no leaks and very satisfied.

I bought this one to replace one a licensed plumber installed years ago. It was easy for me to install because it was an exact match thread-wise, and length. It seems to be of equal quality to the previous one, and the 1/4 turn from off to full on is very handy and easy to use. MUCH better than turning it and turning it, and on and on....NOTE: I have just recently installed this device. While I believe it is a long-term item, I have truly not used it very long. But, works as advertised, looks and feels like a quality plumbing product, and I highly recommend it. I would buy it again.

The freeze plug on the faucet blew open on July 28th causing water to run out on the ground for hours and also leaking back into my basement. Not only will I get a high water bill but also have water damage in the basement. Don't buy. no good.
