What kind of nutrients do I purchase?** A: I would skip whatever nutes come with it. Get these: --General Hydroponics MaxiGro or equivalent dry hydroponic nutrients. You mix them yourself (never pay for water) I found these to be super easy to use and cheap. I got a big bucket. --A good TDS (total dissolved solids) meter. This tells you how many nutrients to mix in reservoir. Ignore all measurements on the nutrients box. Slowly add 1 tsp at a time and stir until 600-800ppm (higher for fruiting plants). Just gradually add nutrients until you reach your desired PPM. Too low is always better than too high (nutrient burn can happen) --(Optional but Highly recommended) pH should always be around 6 so get a High quality pH meter. Use GH pH Up/Down to adjust or look up some natural pH adjusting remedies (lemon juice to lower pH etc). Always measure pH after you've added nutrients and additives. --(Optionsl) Calcium additive; Plenty on Amazon often labeled as Cal-Mag. **Q: Does this need a pump?
