Always have a bag of these in the garage for wiring dashcams in cars. Makes installs much easier.

This is used to connect a dash-cam power directly to the fuse box through a12v to 5v power supply. Firstly it's not always easy to know which way round the flying lead needs to be. It doesn't matter with a fuse but it does here. The fly wire must be opposite the supply side of the fuse carrier in the fuse box. This may or may not mean the fuse box cover will fit back on. It comes with a blue through crimp on the end of the fly wire, but no eye or terminal for the ground. The fuses are very tight in the carriers. Changing the fuse in the dark whilst crawling under the glove box is not easy. 2 pairs of strong pliers are required. Quite why there are 4 in the kit is a mystery. I doubt 4 would fit in the fuse box in a Volvo. So as a casual user 4nus a bit pointless and reflects poor value for money. Delivery probably makes up most of the cost. Not as easy to use as hoped.
