This is an excellent product for indoor use. I live in a 4 season state, my son really misses the beach during winter. We put this sand in a large tray so he can run his small cars in it.  He loves building roads and bridges with this.  The neighbor children all love this and gravitate to it every time they are over. I usually purchase 15-20 lbs at a time for our sand tray. This sand holds its shape, but it does not dry out so the child will not become disappointed.

This is heavy sand, with a residue that is hard to wash off and a bad smell.  I won't purchase again.  Looking for the light fluffy sand.
