Would this be beneficial for the pothos plant?

Beneficial, yes, pothos plants like a cool environment, but long-term shade will cause excessive growth, and the branches will be slender and weak. Putting them on the grow light for about 4 hours per day will help them grow happier. And they are water-loving plants, when using the grow light, the potting soil must be kept moist.
