Didn't do much cooling in my room

Actually made the room hotter. Used on “cool” setting with the ice packs and nothing worked. Very poorly made.

I love that I didn’t need to vent this through a window and keeps me cool while I work.

For the price and portability, it does its job and can make my toes cold on a warm Texas day. However, the filter went bad on me quick, maybe a month of light to moderate use? Filter turned crusty and hard, wouldn't absorb water to make it cooler and comfortable. Also because of this lack of abortion, the water stream right down into the bin, sounding like a water leak streaming into a pool of water. Not easy to sleep with in the same room, distracting even when awake. There is no option on the seller's website to replace or order a new filter. As a solution, since I was past the return window, I pulled out the crusty filter and put in a washcloth in its place. Let the washcloth hang into water bin so that it eliminated the dripping sound. We'll see how long this rigged solution lasts... It might burn out the fan because that washcloth doesn't breath as well as a fresh filter.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I thought it would be a good produce, however, it says air conditioner and it’s not. It just blows out like a fan. Really doesn’t cool a room like I thought it would.

Its basically an expensive fan, cool mode isnt actually cool and feels no different than fan mode

It did not work even in my small apartment I did better with a fan and didn't have to don't have to fill it up with water and ice.
