I have dirt patches in my yard. Will the turf pain color the dirt patches in to make them look like grass as well?

My husband painted some dirt patches, and it did make it green but I don't think it looked the greatest. I think it's a matter of opinion.

its advertized as non toxic on the label it's a water based color lasted about 4 months before reapplying

Does it go away after you mow?

If your lawn is still growing and you mow it, you will be mowing off the top part that has the lawn paint on it. The faster your lawn grows, the more paint you will be mowing off. If your lawn is dead already, you don't have to mow, so just reapply it again in about three months.

second batch was better but not perfect

I had to purchase twice as first batch would not dilute or mix correctly, second batch was better but not perfect, had to use an electric drill and plaster mixer to get the paint mixed well enough for the sprayer. The supplier in the US were prompt to respond but said they had not had any issues. I recommend you treat with caution as there may be a contaminated batch at Amazon's distribution Center.
