Writes beautifully!!
I bought 2 of these nickel pens so far and I will buy more as gifts. If you want a good quality pen that writes smoothly and consistently with no blobs this is the pen for you. I read all about the pen before buying, but it did not state whether the ink is black or blue. I took a chance on the nickel pen and was so pleased I did. The ink is black in this particular pen, which is just what i wanted, as the gift was for my husband who likes black ink. If you want to buy a gift for anyone this is perfect. As the pictures I have taken show, it comes in a really expensive looking faux leather outer in dark brown and a faux leather textured inner in cream. Both my husband and brother were so absolutely over the moon with them. Most gift boxes are usually disappointing for this price range but from the box to the pen itself they look expensive, and like i say really good quality.
