The screen material is nice and bright white. The fabric is much thicker than I was expecting. The images from the projector were as clear and bright as one would expect. To clarify, I’ve only used this screen in the dark. I do not know how what the performance would be in a space with more light. In fact, that might have also to do with your personal projector. I would suspect it would have to be super bright (if using the screen in a lit area). Now, for the 4 stars. The stand is smartly packed away in a nice case with hold downs and elastic bands. I really like how the frame is put together or rather I like the idea of the frame. It does pack away nicely, but the overall strength is where this product falls short. Those aluminum rods are just enough to make this screen work. They cannot sustain repeated abuse or high (or moderate) winds with the screen attached. My top bar has already started to bow a little from minimal use. Do yourself a favor and steak the frame down BEFORE you attach the screen. And use all the provided steaks and guy lines, because if you use it outside, you’ll need them! Summary: For the price, this is a screen that packs away to a small case that doesn’t need electricity (looking at you, inflatable screens). Even after the frames fails, you’ll still be able to figure out a way to keep using the screen, because it’s built that well. Go for it, but be gentle.
