Great Music System without "smart" hassle
The media could not be loaded. What a nice looking and sounding music system and so easy to use. Just pop in a CD into the super-silent slot-in CD-player or listen to DAB+/FM radio. Connect your phone via bluetooth and play any streaming service you want through the excellent speakers of this quality system. The quality of the device is reflected in the details:- wooden box with enough weight for good sound- built in power supply- headphone socket at the front- not the slightest humming or hissing in the speakers- real wood grain- CD plays gapless between tracks and has a resume function for listening convenienceI highly recommend it, good job Roberts Radio!

It's just great!
I took a punt on this as I had not heard what it sounded like. I know Roberts have a fantastic reputation, so I knew it would be decent. I have lots and lots of CDs that are gathering dust and I wanted a CD player and radio in one. I also wanted to be able to connect my phone via bluetooth so I could play my online music and podcasts through it. This really doesn't disappoint. It's a great system with a whole sound, the volume goes up super high without any distortion. The radio is crystal clear. It looks fabulous and doesn't take up much space. In all, I love it, and I am so pleased I bought it.

Setup nightmare with multi purpose shared buttons, small font to boot.
Was exciting to choose one that had undoubtably quality and generally good reviews but I was nervous about its so many functions on so few buttons.Regrettably my fears were justified and the flimsy one page guidance notes are doing my head in. 🤯£275 is a lot of cash for this so I’m going to take some fresh air to calm my frustrations and get back soon to making my third attempt on solving this machine, but my negativeness is growing. My other frustrations are the illuminated menus are small in font. I’ll make another Review in a week or so, to give you a more balanced view but it’s possible that I’ll be making a reselect request

Great sound system
This unit is absolutely phenomenal. The sound is just stunning and the screen layout and look is really good.Great control on EQ. Purchased purely for playing cds.My Bose wave cd player was playing up and I fancied a change.Great choice.I looked at reviews on other websites because there wasn't any on amazon.Definitely worth the extra pennies if you can stretch to it!Highly, highly recommended!!!!

Great radio, feature-rich, but no User Manual available and off-hand Tech Support personnel
Great quality, sound and feature-rich; BUT ...! The so called 'User Manual' provided is woefully inadequate - just a single A3 sheet printed both sides - more like a 'Quick Start' guide. I wondered if the full guide was missing. No mention of how to set Alarm Clock features, which momentarily led me to think it wasn't an alarm clock radio after all. I checked on Roberts' website for electronic manuals under Tech Support, but only the same 'quick start' sheet available. I called Roberts Radio UK by phone and was greeted by a very curt receptionist, who said Roberts radios don’t have a full User Manual. With so many claimed features, I invited her to talk me through how to set up the dual 'Alarm' facility and then she conceded there was a manual available which was sent via email. She also advised me the 300 is an "old model", now replaced by 300L (which is apparently the same but without wireless charging on top for mobile phones). Just what I wanted to hear on the day of delivery. I managed to figure the menu out to access alarm & other features, but all in all, a disappointing experience with Roberts for an alarm clock radio costing near £300 !
