Its an ultra sonic cleaner. The noise is diabolical so wear some head phones or ear protection. Its easy to use and prettey self explanatory. You will need some cleaning solution to go with this depending on what you're trying to clean.

My friend has a larger unit and loves it so I got this one for my wife. As a jeweler, she used one daily. Now she has her own at the house.

Tank dimensions specified are: "Tank Size (L x W x H): 6.9" x 6.4" x 3.9" / 17.6 x 16.2 x 10 cm" . My largest measurement was 6" for some this could make a difference. I had foreseen putting some larger items in it, but it did hold my glasses. If you are intending to clean a carburetor it you may want to know your carburetor dimensions first. I decided I would keep it rather than paying another $ 40.00 for the next size up. I will use it for some smaller things.Unit seems to work as expected; heat settings and timer all accept settings, the water heats and the unit vibrates.. I did not find the noise to be as objectionable as some have claimed but perhaps that is because I have not loaded it up with multiple items at once.The unit is light so I did not experience any problems emptying it and it seems to clean up easily.If I were to be making the original purchase decision again, I probably would shop further for a larger unit.

As a first time user of an ultrasonic cleaning device I have to give 5 stars due to no expectations and effectiveness relying as much upon the cleaning solution used as the device itself. I can however say the "manual" provided has more warning instructions than entry signs to nuclear power facilities - and very little in the way of helpful instructions. I purchased the 2-liter size device and it does not hold 2 liters if filled to 1-inch below the top of the reservoir as directed - more like 1.18294 liters. At a room temperature of 20 degrees Celsius (US users - as I - beware!) it took 27 minutes to heat the solution to the desired 60 degrees celsius. I am not certain at what temperature the unit "self protection" kicks in and shuts the device off - but I only wanted to use the device for 10 minutes of actual cleaning. Also, I could not cause the unit to heat the cleaning solution simply by selecting the temperature - but had to run the unit empty of parts to be cleaned before adding contents. Nonetheless, I suspect the unit works as advertised.

Took a bit longer to get here than normal but worth the wait. It does the job better than you would expect it too

Stopped working after 2 days of use. Moisture somehow got trapped behind the buttons and screen. Power started fluttering and then the unit started smoking.
