TLDR; Get this one over others
After owlet discontinued the support for older socks, we were faced with a decision I wasn't expecting. After some research we decided to go with eufy, and I'm SO glad we did. We have been using this every night for about a month now, and so here's the in-depth review I wished I could have had at the time I was looking. The sock design is so much better than other ones out there. I have no struggles putting it on since the sensor goes right on the top of the foot. Super simple. I also personally have not had any issues with the sock part being super worn or falling apart either, though she only wears it at night. If it does happen to come off for any reason, the base calmly tells me and there's a little image that lights up. It is so much better than the blaring music of previous products I've had. I personally rely on the base rather than phone notifications and I've had no issues. You can turn off the notifications it does if you want to keep it in baby's room (since it does charge it). It is wonderful for peace of mind, but it does so much more than that. It tells me how good my baby is sleeping, when and how often she woke up, her heart rate, her oxygen, if she's moving around, and how much sleep she got overall. I have my daughter in a mini crib a few feet away and this wonderful base has an image that lights up when she's wiggling, and will stop when she stops. It has helped me not get up every 5 seconds to check on her when I hear noises, making my sleep so much better. I have not had any issues like other people have reported regarding the oxygen sensing. It has never been suspiciously low. The oxygen sensing is in BETA testing so it will NOT notify you if something weird happens on the oxygen front, but you can always look at it in the app. It will notify you of a drastic heart rate change though. I would suggest going into the app settings and changing the heart rate notification parameters a bit so you get an earlier notification if something starts going strange. I love the app. It is simple and straight to the point. You can also invite other people (dad) to have access to see what's going on and be notified as well. The only issue I've had is the sock not charging from putting it on the base a tiiiiny but off. It will make a noise when it starts charging so make sure you listen for it. The battery life is a little over 24 hours, so I have used it on low battery a second night and the base will tell me calmly when it's about to die. For the price, I am so impressed. I would get this over other monitoring systems out there, especially if you can use HSA or FSA funds. Love it so much. So thankful.

Updated Review (After Support Experience)
I really wanted to love this product, and after some bumps along the way, I finally do. For the first two months, the Eufy Security Baby Monitor E21 worked flawlessly: clear audio and video, reliable connectivity, and the peace of mind every new parent needs. Then, unexpectedly, the monitor began disconnecting from Wi-Fi every few hours without warning. Despite trying everything — including a Wi-Fi extender just 10 feet away and ensuring the app and firmware were fully up to date — the issue persisted. Even more concerning was the lack of alerts when the monitor went offline, leaving us unaware unless we manually checked the app. Initially, I was deeply disappointed, especially because the core features of the monitor were so promising. But here’s where Eufy really impressed me — their support team reached out, worked with me directly, and ultimately provided a replacement unit that has been working perfectly since. The connectivity issues are gone, and the experience now reflects the quality and reliability I was hoping for from the beginning. I appreciate that the company stood behind their product and took real action to make things right. If you're considering this monitor, know that not only is it a solid product, but it's also backed by responsive and helpful support — something that matters just as much.

Almost Perfect, With One Tiny Quirk
I’ve been really impressed with the Eufy baby camera. The picture quality is crystal clear—no more squinting at pixelated blobs wondering if the baby’s asleep or plotting an escape. I also love the flexibility: the camera runs unplugged, so I can easily move it wherever my baby happens to be napping or lounging. Whether it’s the crib, the playpen, or the occasional baby throne (aka the bouncer), this thing keeps up. The monitor itself is solid—good size, responsive, no lag—and the app is intuitive and user-friendly. I’m not wasting time fumbling with settings when I should be watching my kiddo. Now, the one (mildly annoying) quirk: when you go to dock the monitor on the charging cradle, it insists on turning itself back on. So if you’re trying to save battery or avoid lighting up the room, don’t bother turning it off manually—just plop it in the cradle and let it do its thing. Bottom line? Great camera, smart design, and reliable performance—just be ready for that monitor to have a mind of its own at charging time.

Lots of issues, don't buy this.
Updating my review here, there are quite a few more issues than I originally noticed with this camera. In fact, in my original review, I said that the camera was great, but the mounting arm was quite poor and frustrating. The company (to their credit) refunded me for the ENTIRE amount of the camera. This was almost concerning, why would you give me the entire amount back for a complaint about the mounting arm? But I think the company is moving away from this specific product and I would no longer recommend it to anyone, I'm happy I got my money back, but I'm now running into technical issues that I didn't have before. The connection is shoddy, I'm well within the 20m range, with just two (always open) doors between the camera and the monitor, and it very often has difficulty connecting or needs to buffer, this isn't very helpful when the baby starts crying but I don't see or hear it for 10-20+ seconds (or, I hear it in real life before the monitor shows it). Additionally, the monitor now often recommends (almost every time) that I switch to local connection for better streaming, but then the App doesn't work anymore. I choose 'cancel' but the prompt keeps showing up. Also, I now can no longer access the camera through the app even after turning off the monitor, because of this setting.. despite a mention of 'Smart Connect' that supposedly switches between local and wifi connection for the best performance. The Monitor itself, doesn't connect to the internet, from what I can tell, it is just tethered to the camera through bluetooth, and I think this causes a lot of the connection issues. If both pieces of hardware had wifi connections, I think we could keep a better signal. Lastly, there's a QR code sticker on the camera that you use to set it up, but be warned, if this gets ruined or lost, you have to contact support for help. There's no way to 'detect' a nearby device and connect that way (as you do with literally any other IOT device but hey). Bottom line, I'm glad they paid me back for this camera, I think it's a very poorly designed product. The Camera quality itself and monitor, independently, seem quite good (image quality, etc.), but the implementation is terrible, I will likely be throwing it in the garbage and looking for an alternative. All anyone needs in a baby monitor is a reliable and seamless connection, and this product fails in that regard, and to me it therefore fails as a product.

Amazing but charging sucks.
It’s amazing for a peace of mind. It tracks his breathing, heart rate and even how long he sleeps. Only issue is the charging! Sometimes the sock just won’t charge even after being plugged in all day. Good quality and easy to set up but just annoying when it’s bed time and somehow the socks dead.

Peace of Mind in a Tiny Sock
This eufy Security Baby Monitor Smart Sock ended up being one of those baby items that made me feel calmer and more confident as a parent, especially during those moments when you just want to peek in and make sure everything is okay. From the very first time we used it, it felt reassuring knowing I could keep an eye on my baby’s sleep, naps, and heart rate without constantly sneaking into the room and accidentally waking them up. The sock itself is soft and gentle, and it fits comfortably without feeling too tight or bothering my baby while they sleep. I really liked how easy it was to put on and take off, even when my baby was wiggly or half asleep. Once it’s on, it connects through 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and sends updates straight to your phone, which feels almost like having an extra set of eyes watching over your baby while you rest or get things done. One of my favorite features is how it tracks sleep patterns and naps, because it helps you understand your baby’s routine better over time instead of guessing. Seeing when my baby slept longer, when they woke up, or when naps were shorter helped me adjust our schedule and feel more in tune with their needs. The heart rate tracking adds another layer of peace of mind, especially during those early months when every little thing can feel scary. Instead of constantly worrying, I could quickly check the app and feel reassured that everything was normal. The alerts are helpful without being overwhelming, and the system feels smart but still simple enough for everyday use. I also appreciated that it doesn’t feel bulky or uncomfortable for my baby, which was really important to me. Even during longer sleep stretches, the sock stayed in place and worked consistently. Over time, this monitor became part of our daily routine, not something that caused stress or extra work. It actually helped me relax more, sleep better, and enjoy my baby instead of constantly worrying. Whether it was nighttime sleep or daytime naps, I felt more connected and informed without hovering. For parents who want extra reassurance without complicated setup or heavy equipment, this smart sock feels like a gentle helper in the background. It doesn’t replace being a parent, but it definitely supports you, especially during those moments when peace of mind is everything. Overall, the eufy Smart Sock is a thoughtful, comforting tool that makes caring for your baby feel a little less overwhelming and a lot more confident.

Helps my anxiety during nighttime sleep with newborn
Has been a great comfort for my at night and I have been able to get more sleep. Love the app feature because I can check oxygen levels and adjust baby if I see numbers are on the lower side of normal. If the sock were to come off or were to not be in place , which has not happened by accident ( I was just testing to see what would happen), the device tells me working something is wrong within 2 seconds of this happening. Sometimes the app glitches out but like anything else as soon as you exit the app one or two times it shows you the updated info. Even if the app glitches for a minute the base would tell you if babies heart rate or oxygen were abnormal. Am so happy with the device I had to leave a review.

Do not purchase if video preservation/extraction are important to you.
If you want to save cute clips of kids, this device (even with a micro SD) is not for you. Getting the video off the devices are near impossible. Pretty disappointed. I previously had a prior version of Eufy's baby cameras that we used for our first two. When #3 was on the way we decided to upgrade. I honestly miss the functionality of the old version (minus the horrible battery life of the monitor). Having the app is nice, but the warnings are very hit or miss. There are times where we hear our baby crying and the app doesn't do anything. The prior one the alarm worked very well. We initially also bought based on clear information that the monitor could be associated with 3 or more cameras. After ordering multiple sets and not being able to fix, Eufy customer support finally said "we screwed up, our information is wrong, only two cameras per monitor." They offered a decent discount and we now have two monitors with three cameras. I regret investing this much in these systems. Video retrieval is horrible. There is no reliable way to get videos that are recorded. The micro SD cards are formatted in a way that are incompatible with Windows or Mac. You need to boot Linux from a USB or pay to have third party software. And the app does have a screen record function, but it is horribly unreliable. Sometimes you can get 8 minutes, other times only 8 seconds. So if you are trying to extract a five minute clip of your kids doing something cute, you are going to spend 45 minutes and pray that one of the screen record sessions makes it the whole way (which often time I give up before I actually get a clip I wanted). The app also has a "record" function that you can set. I did this and it recorded for 2 minutes. I had no clue that it quit recording until 10 minutes later when I wanted to view the video. It had just stopped without any indication. I also have some Google Nests. I'd go that route. They don't have monitors or alarms, but the clarity and record function are significantly better. Overall, I am very disappointed with this product. I would not purchase another one.
