5000 Gallon Electric Pool Heater Pump 16000 BTU Pool Heaters for Above Ground Pools Swimming Pool Heat Pump WiFi Control Heat Or Cool Spa Heater Pump 120v

We originally purchased this to go with an above ground pool that we bought for our grandkids. Unfortunately our situation has changed and our grandkids will not be able to use it. Even though it was outside of the return window, after contacting Varpoolfaye they agreed to a return after hearing my situation. Excellent customer service. Jessie was amazing at helping me resolve my issue and was prompted on returning communication. Would highly recommend this company.

Update: We were initially disappointed because we expected it to work in a handful of hours, like the video for the product shows. It does not. It absolutely will not heat that quickly, especially without a solar cover. That said, if you buy a quality solar pool cover and keep it on when you are not swimming, it will maintain bathwater temperatures in the summer and we got in the pool yesterday evening (October 7) at 88°, which is very comfortable and what we have it set to. We initially set it to 95° and that was too warm during the summer. How efficiently it works depends on average night time temperatures and if you run a fountain, that is going to bring the temperature down. If you leave the cover off one night, it can take anywhere from a few days to over a week for it to build up the heat again. It has some caveats, but for the price, we are pleased with this product. I didn't think it would work well as a season extender, but here we are. One week before our average frost date and still swimming! **********Original Review ************** Either that video review is misleading or I have a dysfunctional unit. I have had this unit hooked up for six days and while the water from the return is slightly warmer, I have not seen any remarkable change in temperature that could not be accounted for by the weather or the solar pool cover.

As much as we wanted to love this… it did not work for us. Never heated pool above 70 after 5 days of running consistently. We also have a solar cover and still did not heat properly. At one point it formed a huge ice block and we had to turn off and unplug. We have a 1500 filter and an 18ft above ground pool for reference. It also did not come with proper attachments so we were stuck trying to order additional attachments. Several attempts were made to contact customer service without any help. We had to make the decision to disconnect and return. I did give the product one star for ease of operation. Another helpful tip if you decided to purchase connect product to WiFi before taking to your yard to install… you need a strong connection to link devices.

The heater is very quiet when running and heats the pool very efficiently. We had a stretch of cold weather and the heater maintained the pool in the upper 80s. Very easy to install. Definitely worth the money and looks great .

Very quite well made unit. Quickly heated my 3600 gal pool to 85 deg. Stared with the 18000 BTU unit which was not sufficient for my climate which gets down to 50 deg at night. Jessie at customer service was fantastic with helping me get the right size unit. Would recommend getting a bigger unit than what you think you need if you live in a cooler climate.

It really works. It's been heating my above ground pool like a champ. I keeps it at about 77 degrees. I wish it could get just a little bit warmer, but so far I've been happy with it.

So, far it’s been great. We live in Northern California and have had it for about 2 months now. It heats up our 12 foot round, 48 inches deep pool nicely. It takes a while, but it works! The regular pump has to be going and when we turn the heater on, it takes about a minute or so to look like it’s running. (The fan on it stars turning). But it does it’s job and we’re pleased with it.

Love it!!! Best part: it runs on regular 120V outlet, however the current draw is near 15AMP max so don't plug anything else heavy on the same socket. Used it on average 2 times a week for 4 months on a 18ft x 9ft pool with no issues. We live in the Pacific Northwest so going from 66°F to a comfortable 84°F would take about 3 days of heating - 12 hours each day - in mid July. We got the heater up to as high as 94°F. Yes, you need to keep the heater running overnight and where we live the electricity rate is cheaper at night too.

Works so good! I have 10,000 Litres and it keeps temp very nice. Highly recommend

The packaging of this product is very good, and the logistics is also very fast. The pool heater is very convenient to use, and the effect of heating water is very good and fast.

Excellent unit. Heated my pool 10 degrees in under 24 hours. BUT, keeps switching into cooling mode on its own and then dropping my temperature. Currently working with manufacturer for solutions. Very polite and trustworthy customer service. They are trying to resolve issue with me and also providing alternative solutions.
