Creates a damp proof and vapour proof membrane on sound masonry surfaces through brush, roller or spray application. Perma-Seal Damp Proof Paint is a ready to use product with a similar consistency to that of thick emulsion paint. The membrane is flexible, elastic and is resistant to light abrasion and UV light. Perma-Seal Damp Proof Paint is water based and safe to apply onto damp substrates. Typically the damp proof membrane is touch dry in one hour. Perma-Seal Damp Proof Paint Uses Include: A general damp proofing paint for multiple surfaces. Basements: as part of a waterproofing system. Floors: above and below screeds to provide a damp proof membrane. Walls: can be used under a render as a waterproof layer. Walls: can be used to cover up damp stains on painted areas. Thank you.** A: Depends how damp. In my case, quite effective when combined with a lining mounted a couple of cm away from from the cellar wall. **Q: Can this be used on wet room floor** A: I wouldn't think so **Q: Can this be applied to exterior rendered walls? And also can it be painted over? Thank you** A: Not really suited to external wall.
