Tastes like flowers, you need to know you like that.
It’s cherry blossom tea. It’s going to taste like flowers. Either you vibe with that or you don’t, know yourself before you get this. I vibe hard with perfume-flavored sweets, so to me this is absolutely delightful. It smells so good and it tastes wonderful also. I don’t know why some folks say the bag has no instructions, because mine definitely does. 2 tablespoons for a cold latte in 7oz of water or 4 tablespoons for a hot latte same amount of water. Not sure why they differ. I personally have been enjoying three tablespoons in 16 oz for a cold latte and then have added a little extra unsweetened Sakura powder to keep the taste and cut the sweetness a little. I don’t like things to be overly sweet. But it’s delicious as instructed as well, and that’s how I make it for guests.

I loved it nice floral taste
The Unexpected Hot Cocoa Booster While I initially bought this for traditional milk tea, the real magic happened when I experimented with it. I decided to add a scoop of the Sakura powder to my standard hot cocoa, and the results were incredible. The Sakura powder didn't just add sweetness; it introduced a sophisticated depth and complexity to the chocolate. It transformed the cocoa from a simple winter beverage into a fragrant, nuanced "floral mocha." The slight bitterness of the chocolate grounds the ethereal floral notes of the cherry blossom, resulting in a rich, comforting, and wonderfully unique drink. It was an absolute game-changer and has become my new favorite way to elevate a simple mug of hot cocoa.

Good product
Tasty mix. A little on the expensive side but I'd buy again.

So yummy!
Really yummy! Tastes just like what you’d get at a cafe. Add some boba and it’s the perfect drink

Great! if you like to drink perfume.
Honestly, I didn't like this product. Only because, to me, it tasted like perfume. However, everything else was lovely. The smell, the consistency when made and the packaging. I was so hopeful to like this product. Wish I did.

Great perfect must buy
The flavor !!! Oh the flavor is so strong, so nice, and exactly what I was looking for in my journey to find the taro my favorite boba shop used. This is high quality, super easy to use, and great value.

Like getting taro from a bubble tea store? Then you need to buy this powder
I first tried Taro due to the fact that the new bubble tea place didn't have my flavor, so I chose Taro because none of the other flavors sounded appealing (not much for fruit flavors in my milk tea). So for no other reason other than I didn't want to make the person behind the counter wait too much longer, I decided to try taro. If you've never had taro before, the only way I can describe it is, if you've ever had a sugary cereal like honycomb or captain crunch, then you already have a pretty good idea what it tastes like. It comes pretty close to tasting like the milk that's left after you've eaten the cereal. I had my wife taste it and she said the same thing without any prompting from me. This taro powder tastes exactly like the taro I now regularly get from that bubble tea place and I'm close to saying I'm addicted to the flavor. So if you're thinking of buying this, the first thing I'd suggest is going to a bubble tea location and try a small cup of it. If you like it, get this powder. You won't regret it. The only con I can make is that taro is pretty difficult to mix into cold, and to a lesser degree hot, liquids, so you might want to get one of those battery powered drink mixer or one of those ball mixers you get with a sports cup to mix it effectively.

Artificial and tastes nothing like taro at all
Is it a good deal for the amount you get? I thought so at first. Does it taste good? Absolutely not. I was very excited to try this because taro is my absolute favorite flavor of milk tea. I pretty much scoured the entirety of Amazon looking for a good taro tea mix, and what’s more enticing than a Taiwanese tea mix?? I read the very little reviews for this flavor (practically 2 reviews?) and decided I would risk it as I’ve been wanting to get boba without spending $8 per cup. The reviews for the other flavors weren’t bad, so you would think that the classic taro flavor would be the same, right? Well, unfortunately, the flavor was super disappointing. I really, and I mean really wanted to love this, and I also love supporting small businesses. I’m sad to say that the flavor literally tastes absolutely nothing like taro and is very… artificial tasting. I understand that it has Sucralose in it, however I’ve had many drinks before containing this exact ingredient, and never have they tasted this artificial, let alone soooo bitter. I had a really hard time drinking it. The only thing I could really do to rid some of the artificial flavor was adding more sugar, but even then that didn’t fix the issue of how it didn’t taste like taro at all. Additionally, it’s really misleading how they say on the bag that they use “real milk” and “real taro flavor” for this mix. Not true at all if you look at the ingredient list, plus it’s even more evident in the horrible flavor. It seems like from other reviews, the other flavors are much better, like the Thai tea, but I would avoid this flavor at all costs. It’s also worse because I can’t return this and more likely than not this brand doesn’t offer refunds of any sort. Sadly I now have this huge 2.2 pound bag of inedible tea mix in my kitchen that will probably wind up in the trash can in a couple of years from now. I really wanted to enjoy this considering how I spent $20 and even bought boba pearls go with this, but sadly the quality of this mix is really disappointing. The fact that there are also cheaper brands out there selling the same amount with EXACTLY the same ingredients is pretty upsetting too, and I’m really upset that I can’t do anything with this mix.
