Amazing hairdryer
I was recommended this brand from my hair dresser and decided to treat myself to it whilst in lockdown. I deliberately timed drying my hair with my old dryer one day - 18 minutes to get my hair dry. With my Parlux it took 3 minutes for my hair to be totally dry. I dried in the same way/method. It’s amazing how quickly it dried my hair. The cable is long enough I don’t have to twist/turn/tilt to dry my hair standing up. The dryer is light weight too. It is noisy but what hairdryer isn’t. Would definitely recommend this dryer to anyone with hair. Worth the price tag.

Does wonders for your hair
I'm male so I'm not going to write a serious review for a hair dryer, however good it is. I'll just say that compared to our old dryer this one doesn't leave (what's left of) my hair looking ridiculous after the event but actually nice. The hairs assume - I don't understand how or why - their natural flow and settle on my pate in an almost pleasing to the eye way. Damn it, but that's what happens. I stopped using the hair conditioner because I don't seem to need it anymore. Does this make any sense, because of the HD? I dk, but that's how it is. And of course, costing as much as t it does, it rather feels the part when you hold it. It's light and powerful. But the body stays cool. I can't see it conking out any time soon.

Amazing!
I love this hairdryer. It dries my hair so fast and so straight that I don't need to use a straightener afterwards. The cold function is actually cold as well! Nice and lightweight and a better price point than the other brands I was looking at.

My best hairdryer!
After years of trials with a vast variety of popular hairdryers such as GHD and other professional ones I decided to try this one. The difference was pretty much immediate and everyone noticed my hair looks healthy, shiny and straight. I have long waivy/curly hair and this hairdryer is finally the right one for me! It never gets frizzy and lasts for longer compared to all my previous hairdryers. I love the design and the unique choices of colours. Very lightweight and great product it worth every penny!

Lightweight and powerful
Great product, powerful and light to use. 4 stars because I don’t think the 2 speeds offer a wide enough range. I would have liked the option of a gentler speed. It’s a relief not to have aching arms and my hair feels lovely after using this.

A hair dryer in a class of its own
I’ve never spent much on a hairdryer and my last ones were all fairly inexpensive ones that didn’t last very long. I did some research and the Parlux brand kept popping up. It appealed that Parlux is an Italian brand used by professionals, and the hair dryers get consistently excellent reviews - the Alyon light even has the ‘Woman & Home 20202’ seal of approval. I settled on that particular model in the unusual shade of jade - a nice change when most hair dryers tend to be black. First of all, unlike other models on sale on Amazon, the Alyon has a fitted UK plug. The box includes two nozzles and an instruction booklet. The flex feels really different from the usual appliance flex - it’s more like a tubular material, shiny and solid - probably so that it doesn’t coil. In terms of appearance, it has to be said, the opalescent jade shade is really pretty. A lot of hair dryers claim to be powerful but it’s only when you compare them to something like this baby that you realise that those claims are false. The Alyon is very powerful and even at the lowest setting it dried my hair really quickly. There are two speed settings and two heat settings, plus a cold button, and it can also blow air on the ‘zero’ heat setting. Most importantly for me, it’s extremely light in weight, at 456g - which means it will be something I can take with me when travelling (if you have experienced hotel hair dryers you’ll understand). Noise wasn’t a concern for me but as you can hear from the video I have posted with this review, it’s not particularly noisy. I would never have considered spending so much on a hair dryer but it makes no sense to buy something lower or mid range and then replace it every couple of years. Plus, I wanted something that dries my long hair without frying it. It looks like the Alyon is the right tool for the job.

Great dryer but not as light as you think
Great hairdryer however my arms ache using this, heavier than my last hairdryer so not sure how they make out it is light.. Noise isn't too loud and drys hair in no time just wish it was lighter

Dries my hair so fast!
I finally had to buy a new hairdryer in July 2019 after my previous one died after only 9 years of service. My old one was also superfast and I loved it. So I was quite hesitant to see if this one would give me as much joy. I am very happy to say: It has! It dries my hair in minutes. Sometimes 5-7 minutes if I go straight from the shower with towel dried hair. Usually I wait a good 30-60 minutes before drying it. Then it takes maybe 2 minutes to dry it. I have medium to fine hair, armpit length and thick'ish. (It's not thin, but it's not a proper horses mane either.) I used to have to use my hair straightener as I have curly hair (but use keratin treatments), however not necessary at all with this amazing hairdryer. I recommend highly! It has been with me for 8 monhts now, and I have had absolutely no issues with it at all.
