I'm very pleased with this light. It provides a number of useful options for lighting from spotlight to wide light, bright and dim and adjustable in between. There are two buttons which select between lighting modes...long press and short presses provide the modes. I only have two complaints...it does not tilt downward very far. This is somewhat made up for using the wide area mode but not useful when trying to use the spotlight. My other complaint is the 2nd press button...the smaller and slightly recessed button next to the larger more tactile primary button. It's difficult to tell when I have my finger on the smaller recessed button and often find I take the headlamp off to look at where the button is to be sure I know where to find it. Overall, it's a great quality headlamp and would certainly recommend. I love the USB rechargeable feature and overall value of this light with the features it has.

A great light bought for my son. My buddy has one, I have the older version and it has been sumersed in shallow water for a pretty long time no leaks. Pretty bright and rechargeable unlike the older one I have.

This thing is amazingly bright and light. I can use it running, hiking, and any other activity where a good bright light is needed. Long lasting battery as well. Recommended.

This is my fourth Black Diamond headlamp - first rechargeable one. I generally like the ones where I can carry extra batteries and change them if need but decided to give the rechargeable one a try. It lasts very long and has the same amazing build quality as all my other Black Diamonds. I also now carry a small external charger in my backpack so I can always recharge if needed. Don't hesitate to buy this. It'll last you a LONG TIME.

The best headlamp I've owned in 45 years of headlamp use outdoors and for most frequent use indoors working on machinery and other tasks. Features wide bulb array, a large spot bulb , or both bulbs on for super intensity which is superb for working under a truck or other task. The many non-white modes are annoying ... flashing, getting stuck on red color, etc. Someone younger could master these without blinking. They just get in the way and seem to appear on an inconsistent basis. Not unique to this model. I have multiple Black diamond older lamps and the head strap on this one is unpleasantly narrow, perhaps 1/2" versus the 7/8" used for two decades. No good reason for this, not like its going to save them more than pennies. Three green LED's light up at each shut-down to tell you existing battery memory which is handy. Recharging is by USB-C port. The flexible plastic port cover cannot be opened by me without a knife point. I've used this in the rain and snow and sofar no issues with leakage or draw down.

Long battery life. brightness of lamp is adequate. The head band is a good fit. This headlight is a great value for price.

You can't go wrong with Black Diamond head lamps. This one is by far the best I have ever used. I have used a bunch in my lifetime. The rechargeable feature is awesome. I never have it on full power and it's lasted quite a while. The one touch bright/dim feature on the side even works when wearing work gloves. So, you don't have to expose your skin to the elements. It works awesome for snowblowing at night.
