RECOMMEND - Solenoid was a direct match for my existing manifold
Not an exact replacement for the what I needed, but all I needed was the solenoid. The solenoid was easily transferred to the valves already installed on my manifold and performed flawlessly for the last year.

Good control valve
Ordered 4 of these to replace leaking valves on my irrigation system. I would give these 5 stars except one of the valves had a seal missing in the anti siphon valve. I had to scavenge a seal from one of the old valves to make it work.

Cheap junk
Sorry for you if you wasted your money on one of these. Didn't last a year, cracked on the neck between the valves. Had a spare, put it on, and it's cracked in the same place! I have some old orbits that have lasted many years, I suppose when they were manufactured domestically. Not any more. Cheap, thin plastic that breaks easily.

It worked great!
I replaced the new valves for the old ones without changing the base part (pipes) and it worked great! No more leaking.

Replaced 12+ years old valves. These should last just as long, if not longer. The spacing between inlet and outlet is a bit shorter than my old valves. I had to heat the outlet pipe (thinner than inlet pipe which is schedule 40 PVC) it bent just enough to make up difference. These have anti-siphon feature so water does not go back into house water pipe. The solenoid is also much easier to turn. They have a little lever to make it a no brainer even for me. By the way, I did take one of the old valves apart as some videos suggest I could simply wash the innards, maybe replace the diaphragm inside. It looks easier on video than reality. I broke a tiny thing off. Thrn finding replacement diaphragm is a dice roll and nearly as expensive as getting brand new valves. So I went with nee valves. A couple days to receive them. An hour or so, for me, to swap 4x old with new ones. Done. A good purchase.
