Review: Great Quality Unit to Track Blood Oxygen and Pulse Rate Levels - I'm impressed at how this device works and the detailed information I'm getting. I've COPD and Sleep Apnea and use oxygen at night to sleep and off and on during the day. I'm able to wear the finger meter using the strap to keep it on all night. The information on my oxygen saturation and heart rate are great. This unit takes a data point reading of O2 and pulse every 30 seconds from the time I turn it on record until I turn off the record. Plug in the USB cable to my computer and using their App download the information from the finger unit to the App. I can review the data and review a chart version that shows more detail than I every expected. I showed a copy of the charts to my doctor today when I went in for a check up. He knew exactly what they were and explained to me what all the data was showing. He even asked where I got it from. You can even download an Excel file of all the data points if you want to manipulate the data yourself if you want. This has been a great device for me to be able to see what's going on with my O2 and pulse during the night when it's difficult to tell what's going on since I'm asleep. Great unit and well done. It took a little while to get used to the Pulse Oximeter sticking off my finger at night but the little strap keeps it from getting pulled off you finger when sleeping. Will get another one if this one ever fails. By the way this meter has a rechargeable battery that lasts about 8 hours also. Just plug it in a USB to recharge and you're ready to go.

**Q: Why did the alarm just wake me, even though the data shows oxygen and heart rate were never out of range?**
A: I don't use the alarm option. May have been a sudden drop that you can barely see on the printout. Enlarge the printout and also check the alarm settings as well.

**Q: i am looking at emayltd official website, they 've just posted two types of cheaper oxymeter, isn't it weird? None of them look like this...**
A: The do have a cheaper version. Go for this one

**Q: Has anyone used this device during the day for continuous recording?**
A: If you are active, wearing it all day wouldn't be practical. I've used it while riding my bicycle (to see if that would put my heart in a bad way - it would, dang it). But it's clumsy to wear, and best to tape it on if doing anything even semi-active. I tape it on at night as well.

**Q: Does it record spot readings to history? Or does it only save continuous recordings?**
A: It only records when "Record" is turned on.  It does not record spot readings if "Record" is turned off.   The memory will record as many segments as you want, short or long, up to a cumulative total of 72 hours.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Real-time monitoring is GREAT

PROS: * Visual display while monitoring is very nice. * Display is crisp and clear. Easy to read. * Device setup is straightforward and easy to do. * Uploading to the PC / phone is easy. * It is very easy to start the recording, to upload data to your phone or to the PC. * I charged the device every day so no problems running out of battery overnight. * The real-time display is GREAT. * I had the opportunity to compare, simultaneously, the SleepO2 and the EMO-90 and they both recorded similar results. * I have tried both the SleepO2 and EMO-90. The EMO-90 is great for watching in real-time, while the SleepO2 is more comfortable for nighttime wear. CONS: * not as comfortable as the SleepO2. Hard case vs. silicon finger sensor. * has a tendency to fall off the finger during the night, this would produce two (or more) files that would need to be uploaded. The files could not be merged. * I was afraid of the monitor falling off my finger when getting up in the middle of the night. The SleepO2 was gently tethered to my wrist. * file management on the PC is a bit tricky. File names require some concentration to determine what was recorded and what was not. * It is possible to upload the same file multiple times, which confused me when I was trying to look at trends. This could be avoided by printing the summary reports. *Some data management tools (Excel spreadsheets, for example) would be nice for viewing the data. It can be done, but it is not for the average user. Maybe EMay could offer some templates or if there is a user group, users could contribute. SUMMARY: * Very nice device, especially handy for real-time monitoring of pulse rate and oxygen level. * Very good quality. * Not as comfortable for nighttime wear as the SleepO2. * To check its accuracy, I will be asking my doctor to do an office measurement, or even better, schedule a home sleep study with a professional machine. I will try to amend my review after that test.
