Pardon the pun** A: The central part of the bottom is flat but the stern and bow are not. **Q: Do you get any planes with this** A: 12 in all, 6 Swordfish and 6 Fulmars. 4 of each with extended wings and 2 with folded. You do not get any markings for them however, **Q: does it need glue? whats the material?** A: I bought this as a gift for someone, so I don’t know for sure, but I have HMS Nelson and Bismarck, both in the same range, and neither of them came with glue included, so I imagine you will need to purchase some. The kit is plastic, so you probably need some sort of poly cement.
