Just build one yourself.
This wind turbine generator is really not worth the time, money or energy. First, you will have to fabricate a pole to post this thing on, so you'll need a welding machine even get off the ground. Second, the blades on it are tiny, wasting lots of potential generation because they only spin in very high winds. I had to modify mine to make the blades much wider. Third, the fact that it's on a rotating head makes it almost useless unless you're in a plain that is very windy in one direction, like by the ocean, otherwise, you'll have to find a way to fix it in a single direction to get any use out of it. Finally, the most insulting aspect about this turbine is the "charge controller" has 2 different vampire "indicator" lights that literally eat more than 50% of the energy generated just to tell you it's actually working, as if people who are able to weld, wire and mount this thing on a roof wouldn't have a voltmeter on hand to tell if it was actually generating power or not. I've had it running for more than 24 hours and even though it's been spinning quite a lot, like all evening, night and day and it hasn't been able to add a single bar to my battery. Everything about this "generator" is a mockery and a slap in the face to the good people who could benefit from it. Just build one yourself. I gave it 2 stars because it is installed and seems pretty sturdy, but at this rate, I'll be replacing it with one I build myself. I'll add pics and a vid later if I can.
