Very easy way to get your own fresh mushrooms that aren't STINKY PORTABELLAS!! I love making crabless crab cakes with lions mane, and mixing oyster mushrooms into any savory dish is a huge win. Comes with a block of inoculated substrate and a little spray bottle. All you have to do is spritz it every day and wait for pinheads to appear, and then you'll have big fat mushrooms in no time. I can almost always get a second flush too, and sometimes even a third! These things are jam packed with nutrients for growing fungi! They're a really fun and awesome way to try new mushrooms!

Easy to grow just open and spray the water.

We did not have good luck with these boxes. The lions mane seemed to do well and the suddenly it went from white to brown in an afternoon. The blue oyster never did anything but actually grow mold and smell horrendously sour. There have to be better ways of doing this for the same $ amount without all the mold... Disappointed to say the least. We followed the box and qr code instructions to a tee... Still no contact feom the company regarding our failed boxes. Waste of my money at this point... Ive emailed and no on even replie. NorthSpore came HIGHLY recommened, I'm not seeing why. Would be nice to get some contact from someone.

These kits make it possible for the novice to raise mushrooms, but my results were mixed and not a good value overall. The blue oysters worked perfectly per instructions, but lion’s mane was slow to grow, turned brown and never got to the point where it looked edible. There is a lot of nuance to successfully growing mushrooms at home, so I will buy pre-grown mushrooms in the future. Another factor is that mushrooms release very fine spores when they are near harvesting, and spores get on household surfaces and in the air, per my experience with these kits.

Growth rate is good, value for money is ok, good quality, just protect from insect and flies or they will lay eggs

Very low maintenance and fun watching them explode out of the box. Delicious too!

Ordered the pink oyster also, only the lions mane have grown the 2 others haven't done anything. Spent $90 total and only 1 has produced anything. Used these for a science fair project and had to purchase new kits from other vendors.

Always great - I buy them every year for a Christmas present - she enjoys growing them
