Can't beat a Maxi Cosi carseat for a small/preemie newborn! This is our second one as we loved our first but have a bit age gap. Our first child was 5lb and our second a tiny 3lb and both have fit nicely and safely when leaving the hospital. The seats fit on to so many different pushchairs and travel systems which is handy. Great value for money and has a lovely comfortable design with the added bonus of not being too heavy for the parents. We have a base for ours but love that you can use the seat belt to secure if using a different vehicle

I bought this as the car seat that came with my travel system, my baby wasn't comfortable in it. Im so glad looked at the reviews on here and purchased it. She now seems comfy and relaxed when she is in it. Makes car journeys less stressful for both of us. I love the fact that it's so light, I can see why this car seat is a classic as it ticks all the boxes with no hefty price tag. Most importantly shes safe and secure in it

Great car seat at a great price. Maxicosi is a reputable company. All my children have used the same car seat brand/design. The baby seems very comfortable in her seat. Easy to take the cover off to clean. Easy to use with a base (bought separately). Not used with the seatbelt option.

Decided to buy this after researching a lot in to car seat safety. This brand kept coming up and I decided to go for the cabriofix for several reasons. It is very sturdy but also comfy for baby and lightweight. I know my boy will probably outgrow it in a few months as a bigger baby but as a newborn it's very supportive. I use rear facing with seatbelt fixing not isofix and feels well protected and stable in the car. Overall I really like the quality and have had no issues so far and would buy from this brand again in the future.
