Try 20 seconds in the microwave. *by C***. on January 13, 2023* Being a lover of sweets, but also being a type 2 diabetic, I'm always looking for a delicious sugar-free option. The lemon flavored arrived at my house, but still waiting for the oatmeal ones to be delivered. I tried the lemon flavored and was expecting a luscious, great-tasting cookie (based on all the positive reviews). - The taste is pretty good with a mild sweetness and a noticeable lemon flavor. However, I was a little surprised at how dry these were. A tall glass of ice cold milk definitely helped these go down better. But then I got an idea to try heating these up a little bit using the microwave oven. Try putting 2 or 3 cookies on a folded paper towel, and give them about 20 to 30 seconds on full power. You'll end up with a warm and slightly moist cookie that definitely enhances the eating experience. I'm hoping that the oatmeal ones will be better overall when they finally arrive. Of course, these were really good by crumbling them over the top of a big scoop of vanilla ice cream! - but, of course, this kind of defeats the purpose of eating sugar-free cookies.
