Great knife - some feedback on reviews
I really liked the design of this knife but was hesitant to buy it based on some of the user reviews. After a few months of use, I wanted to share some views from my experience - this is a great knife. 1 - Size: There are some complaints that this knife is too small to be useful; I disagree. It's the size of an average pocket knife and the blade is great at everyday tasks. If you're a construction worker, EDC die-hard, jungle survivalist, then yeah, you might want to consider a larger blade. For the rest of us though, this is a great every-day knife. 2 - Bottle Opener: Some reviews say this is gimmicky and difficult to use, but I haven't had any issues cracking various cold ones with it. The design is a little unique so the first few bottle caps took a few tries to learn the trick, but it's certainly not rocket science. Useful feature and good design. 3 - Clip Strength: My main concern with this purchase was losing the knife after reading reviews of others replacing theirs. After living with it for a few months though, the clip strength seems really solid and I've yet to encounter a situation where it was at risk of being pulled off my clothes. I understand the concern of the bottle opener catching and inadvertently yanking the knife off, but I really doubt the odds as long as you're somewhat careful. I accidentally ran the knife through the washing machine and dryer last week and it was still clipped to my pocket after 2 hours of tumbling about (no damage to the powder coating either) - the clip seems solid in my opinion. Altogether, great pocket knife for the price point.

Great everyday pocket knife
I really like this pocket knife. It's a good size for general cutting activities. The blade is quite sharp. The entire knife is very light and hardly noticeable in my pocket. Having a bottle opener is a great plus and makes this a great replacement for a complete mini-multi-tool. One benefit over those mini-multis is that the blade locks open, which makes it better for cutting.

Good, small, EDC knife
I was looking for a slim, lightweight pocket knife that I could open easily with one hand. This is the best I've found for my needs. I've lived with this knife for about 8 months now, and I love it. It is almost perfect for my needs. PROS: Very well built, light, slim, blade was sharp out of the package CONS: Its small, bottle opener occasionally catches on things, liner lock is a concern in the long-term. I wanted a knife that I could fit easily in slim chinos or jeans that left me enough room to easily get things in and out of my front pocket (I carry using the pocket-clip in my right-front pocket for jeans and usually my right-rear pocket for chinos). This knife's minimal design met this requirement. Other slim knives I've owned (Spyderco Delica) fit into a front pocket very well using the pocket-clip, but because of their blade design, still make getting your hand into your pocket difficult. The minimal design also allows for it to be lightweight despite its all-metal construction. Speaking of its construction, It seems to be very well built for such a minimal knife. The blade was thicker than I thought it would be and razor sharp out of the package. This is the sharpest knife I've ever owned out of the package. Because of its minimal design, its blade hinge is not fully boxed (I don't know if there is some knife-term for this) by both sides of the handle like most folders, but instead bolted to one side of the handle. This originally worried me, but after 8 months of light use the blade has remained rock-solid. It stills sits nice and centered in the handle when closed as well. The liner lock is secure, but because of the fact that the blade is not sandwiched between both sides of the handle, there is nothing to keep the liner captive against the blade once engaged. This has not caused any issues yet, but could become a problem as the knife ages or under extremely heavy use. Aside from the potential long-term problem with the lock the only other con to this knife is the bottle opener. By no means was the bottle opener a requirement for me, but I thought it was a nice little bonus. I didn't give it a second thought. However, as other reviewers have written, it gets caught on things. Not enough to be a deal-breaker for me, but it is an issue and has caused the knife to nearly fall out of my pocket a few times. If it does become more of an issue for me I will grind the bottle opener off like others have done. NOTICE: As other reviewers have stated, this knife is small. If you are a heavy-duty user or have very large hands this is probably not the knife for you.

Nice little pocket knife
The Leatherman Skeletool KB Pocket Knife with Bottle Opener is a great little pocket knife. Small, sturdy, and very sharp, with an excellent little bottle opener built in. It makes a great partner to the Leatherman - Tread LT , the multitool bracelet that has a small hook cutting tool, but no blade. On the down side, the handle is small, and may not be comfortable for many hands. The blade has several holes that make it easy to open but can fill with dirt or other crude. Because of the small size and the holes in the blade, it isn't great for food type chores that my pocket knives often are expected to perform. E.M. Van Court

Perfect EDC Form and Function
Perfect size pocket knife. Mine came without a flaw and sharp (enough). I have the Skeletool and this seems to just have taken the form and function of the knife part just perfectly. Meaning it’s light weight, beautifully simplistic, and well made. I carry it when I don’t need the whole multitool. One thing not evident in the photos: as with the KBX line as well. There’s two different textures of paint on the handle. One part has a powder coat finish and the other is more of an anodized finish. Nice touch. Not too crazy about the bottle opener but I’ve had it for 3 weeks and have used it a couple of times already but it has hooked on to my shirt a few more times than that. I haven’t taken it to the grinder yet but I just might...

Es una navaja de bolsillo muy compacta. Sirve pero el agarre es muy poco, en especial si tienes manos grandes. Si la metes en el bolsillo con su clip, te puedes olvidar que la cargas y no representa molestia.

Fits in my pocket especially well. I carry it every day. It's a normal length blade for an every day carry knife but it's my favorite I've had (and I've been through dozens including one previous leatherman, sogs, gerbers, etc.). I've used it on everything from trimming sheep feet to cutting holes in cans. Lovely little knife and I hope I don't lose this one. If I do, I'll buy the same.
