I don’t even know what emery cloth is, but I used it for file sanding metal specifically my Apex Tactical Smith & Wesson M&P Gunsmith fit Barrel… and it worked great. Much more aggressive than sandpaper it did a pretty good at removing deep scratches and burrs. So for my needs it worked great and this roll will literally last me a lifetime

Good quality construction, nice cloth backing and good grit retention.

It is sandpaper on a roll. It works good like it should. Not quite like emery cloth but good enough for what I need it for.

I use it to clean contact points in old engines. It does a great job.

Just what I needed .
