## Description

Having bought a SONY Bravia screen, like many people you probably wanted to mount it on the wall. As you are looking at this listing, you have most likely encountered the slight design flaw! Our adapter kit overcomes this problem, for a wide range of models, and provides secure fixing points for your VESA bracket. Please see the tables below for compatibility, your model number MUST match completely, where there is an x please substitute this for the number in your model. For example KDL-xxW8xxB would match KDL-50W829B If you are at all unsure of compatibility please contact us before purchase. KDL-xxW6xxB / KDL-xxW8xxA / KDL-xxW7xxC / KDLxxW8xxC ranges are NOT compatible with the adapter kit, we do not have an alternative solution available. We would recommend contacting your local Sony dealership for advice. We do not recommend using brackets with fixed mounting plates, some screens are a few millimetres out of VESA specification and the plates rarely accommodate this. Those with adjustable arms provide the tolerance required, more often than not they also prove easier to fit.

Review: Sony TV mounting problem solved - The design of the rear of my Sony Bravia tv prevented the direct mounting to a wall bracket because the top and bottom mounting locations are not aligned (by design). The use of these adaptor bolts solved the problem and it's straightforward to screw them into the existing vesa mounting points. The £5 delivery charge was my only gripe!
Review: It worked - I was looking to build a tv lift cabinet. Of course Sony had its own mind with the KDL-50W829B as it didn't have a VESA adapter included but it's own proprietary wall fixing which is lame. This little kit saved the day and the TV is now within it TV lift cabinet.

**Q: What bracket do I need to buy initially to add this kit to please I want a full motion type bracket that pulls out has full swivel and tilt**

A: I'm sorry, but no, this kit is not compatible with your screen.

**Q: Will this kit fit a sony 32w654a with a vesa angle wall mounted bracket?**
A: This is designed to correct the differrence in thickness of the TV at the base. On the back of the TV the moulding is deeper at the bottom than the top.
If you TV has this difference in thickness then the adapter should work. My TV was a 50 inch and it worked fine.
