The mic is as advertised, the build quality feels great. It is essentially half the price as the Mic 2. Naturally with less features but you get what you pay for. In this case, what you pay for is great value for the money in my opinion. It connects great using bluetooth, albeit the quality takes a hit naturally but it is great in case you need it. Using it as intended with the receiver is great and easy to use, being able to charge through the receiver is a great feature. Since this is their budget option, you will miss features like higher khz and bit recording, but again, you get what you pay for. For this budget, can't go wrong with the quality and ecosystem of a company as reliable as DJI.

La mise en place est rapide, aussi bien sur smartphone que sur appareil photo. Le fait qu’il soit parfaitement compatible avec l’écosystème DJI est un vrai plus. Le boîtier est robuste, de qualité professionnelle, et pensé pour être transporté partout. On ouvre, on installe, et ça fonctionne immédiatement. Livraison rapide et emballage impeccable. Un produit extrêmement bien conçu, aussi adapté aux professionnels qu’aux amateurs exigeants. Franchement, le DJI Mic Mini est un excellent investissement en termes de rapport qualité-prix. I’m very impressed with the DJI Mic Mini Transmitter. The microphone is extremely small and lightweight, yet the audio quality is surprisingly clear and professional. I’ve been using these since launch day for my vlogs (paired with the Osmo Action 4) and honestly, the recording quality is superb. If you are filming outdoors, the noise cancelling is spot on; it handles wind noise better than almost anything else I’ve tried. I’ve even used these in a professional setting for interviews and the audio has never let me down. The battery life goes on for ages, and the charging case is a nice bonus to keep you topped up throughout the day. The range is great IF you are using the receiver. The direct Bluetooth connection is pretty limited so use the RX to be safe. One massive tip: As soon as you get them, connect them to your phone and run the firmware update on the DJI Mimo app. I had a few connectivity niggles at the start, but the update fixed them instantly. I recently bought the DJI Mic 3 setup to run 4 mics at once, but I still find myself grabbing these Minis more often just because they are so easy to use. 5 stars.

The compact size makes it so convenient to carry, I can always have it with me. I see it with my smartphone, Osmo Pocket 3, and my full-size mirrorless cameras. Anything that accepts a Bluetooth wireless device. It doesn’t have an external mic input, but the tiny size makes this almost unnecessary. The sound quality is more than adequate, even if it’s not top-tier.
