Vanguard U-Yoke Outdoor Gun Rest Head

A very good price for this piece of Kit , have mounted this u-Yoke on a photographic tabletop tripod only required a minimum of fettling and in my opinion its nearly as good a s the"porta-aim bench rest " the one that comes fitted with a U- yoke ,with only the satisfaction of a bit of d i y and saving a few quid.

Exactly what I needed ie a solid swivel mount for a fairly heavy weapon. I have a selection of photography tripods and did not want to pay out for another for my rifle. This yoke does the job nicely and is, as far as I'm concerned, well priced.

Does its job

Although designed as a gun support, I re-purposed it by putting the head into a vice and expanding the u-yoke head. I then buffed down some of the compressed rubber ribbed grips,In the base of the head, there is a standard 1/4 inch internal bush which I then screwed into the top of a Manfrotto monopod. This now gives me a lightweight collapsible camera lens support which also doubles as a walking pole, much stronger than normal walking poles.

Doesn't work on a camera trypod it's to wobbly it might work on a stronger trypod

Fits perfectly on the adjustable camera tripod. Makes an excellent shooting combination

Although the product works and attaches to any 1/4" tripod screw (I have attached to a table-top tripod), the cost of the product far exceeds what I would expect to pay for it, having now received it. It does work fine, but it is only a moulded piece of plastic with soft rubberized ridges on the inside, where a gun would rest. I feel this product should be priced around £15 or so, especially as it is made in Myanmar.

Quando arriva si rimane male. È piccolo e sembra una scemata. Invece è davvero magnifico. Regge fucili di qualsiasi taglia e sagoma. Lo uso con un mini treppiede e va che è una meraviglia. Sono rimasto davvero sorpreso!

Ottimo prodotto dal punto di vista costruttivo anche se un po' di robustezza in più non ci sarebbe stata male.Accessorio molto pratico per il tiro a segno con carabina per la quale si dimostra un ottimo supporto in unione con un treppiede ad allungamento telescopico.

Ich habe die Gewehrauflage für mein Foto Stativ besorgt und bin voll zufrieden, die Auflage macht einen stabilen Eindruck alles bestens.
