445702 Hygro-Thermometer Clock - Digital Humidity Monitor and Indoor Thermometer with Max/Min Memory, Triple LCD Display, 12/24 Hour Clock, and Alarm - Wall Mount or Desktop Stand

This is a wonderful little device. I have had mine for many years and it gives reliable readings of time, temperature and best of all, relative humidity - one of the few devices in this price range that does.

I own another hygrometer by the same company and it worked great! I'm a lash extension technician, monitor the humidity level and temperature in my work space is extremely important for the adhesive we use to work smoothly and properly. Only problem is when getting busy I always have hard times keep track of time. I wanted a hygrometer that not only monitors the humidity level and temperature, but also display time so I'm able to keep everything in control with a glance. Such a device was surprisingly hard to find. I was so happy I found this one, and it's even better it's from a brand that I already know and trust:)

Excellent product. Worked perfectly, right out of the box, and easy to set up and read. I'm very glad to have the humidity readings for some wooden instruments that we keep in a particular room of our house. Highly recommended

A very accurate and dependable monitoring device . I have used these for years in large new home construction and leave them for the owners use at the completion of the job.

i have purchased a few of these including one that is about 15 years old that work fine and have a excellent battery life span . This one recently purchased eats through batteries in a few days . I ve checked the batteries w a tester before installing and there fine but within 2 to 3 days the display is blank ,i install a new battery and it works .i would gather that poor quality control is to blame .Be aware possible yunk from a past fine manufacturer .

This is an update to my original review. The unit worked perfectly and was accurate for a while. In less than a year, the humidity was way off. It's reading about 20% too high so it's not even close. Time and temperature are still working fine. Not classy looking, but I was willing to overlook that if it was functional. Now looking for a replacement.

that it dosent light up when u hit the button whe the lights sre off so u can see it u have to turn the lights on to see it

I had a cheap (£5 plus) Clock/Thermometer/Hygrometer device and it was awful (even with the clock). So, I bought this Extech Instruments 445702 Hygro-Thermometer Clock, hoping that it would be more accurate, given that it costs £30 plus (most expensive among similar devices). The clock and temperature measurement seems okay but humidity measurement (the main reason i bought this for) is consistently inaccurate %20. See the attached photo for a comparison. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed and would not recommend this product.
